i love how the "spicy" specials restaurants run sometimes are almost never actually spicy. i used to think it was just because i have a high spice tolerance but from these videos i know they just suck

In 2017 I went to a restaurant in Fort Collins called Music Hall Chicken. I can't remember the name of the dish but basically it was a fried chicken leg doused in hot sauce on a spice level they called "flammable solid".... god damn, it was the first time I felt my tongue and lips go numb on hot peppers. 10/10

Man i hear that Burger King in the states is so different to over here. Here Burger King was one of the few fast food things i could ever stand to eat when swapping trains at Glasgow Queen street station and i only had a short window to grab some food. I tried both of these before my local Arby's sadly took them down. Didn't need the milkshake after eating both of them, but they certainly had a kick to them. I enjoyed the chicken more than the brisket.

The owner of a Pepper Palace location in Syracuse gave me a free bottle of The End out of packaging. I went around school in sophomore year giving everyone a toothpick of it. many people said "if im gonna do it then why dont you do it if you're so tough" and i would every time. the first few times i held a straight face when it was pure hell inside, but after about the 5th time i acclimated to it and even to this day i will sometimes eat a little just to keep my tolerance high. I love spicy food so it has actually helped me experience other cultures of food from outside of my weird italian family with an uncomparable sense of spice to thai or other asian countries. you really learn how good thai food is when you can get over the raging diarrhea and mouth burn

hot tip from someone who used to work at Arbies. besides the friench dip because its bomb only buy the fresh sandwiches like the Turkey ranch and bacon or something similar. Those sandwiches are made to order so every one is legit. They have not been siting around like beef sandwiches or the beef and cheddars.
Where I’m from there is an Arbys, but it’s not just any arbys. Everyone who eats there swears it has QUALITY MEAT like something you’d get from a barbecue joint, which no other arbys has. It has completely different bread, different menu options and just way more options in general. There’s always a line and plenty of good employees. They look like actual cooks too which is surprising. But yeah if anyone else has one like this let me know it’s always been a unique experience around here

The owner of a Pepper Palace location in Syracuse gave me a free bottle of The End out of packaging. I went around school in sophomore year giving everyone a toothpick of it. many people said "if im gonna do it then why dont you do it if you're so tough" and i would every time. the first few times i held a straight face when it was pure hell inside, but after about the 5th time i acclimated to it and even to this day i will sometimes eat a little just to keep my tolerance high. I love spicy food so it has actually helped me experience other cultures of food from outside of my weird italian family with an uncomparable sense of spice to thai or other asian countries. you really learn how good thai food is when you can get over the raging diarrhea and mouth burn
If you are mistaking the Jalapeños with relish you know you made a bad spicy sandwich. And the turn around to the bin when tasting the sauce was so funny

hot tip from someone who used to work at Arbies. besides the friench dip because its bomb only buy the fresh sandwiches like the Turkey ranch and bacon or something similar. Those sandwiches are made to order so every one is legit. They have not been siting around like beef sandwiches or the beef and cheddars.
Where I’m from there is an Arbys, but it’s not just any arbys. Everyone who eats there swears it has QUALITY MEAT like something you’d get from a barbecue joint, which no other arbys has. It has completely different bread, different menu options and just way more options in general. There’s always a line and plenty of good employees. They look like actual cooks too which is surprising. But yeah if anyone else has one like this let me know it’s always been a unique experience around here
