This is probably one of my favourite pieces of music and so I had to make a tribute to it at some point. It was a lot of fun to do and I'm happy with how it turned out. Although... it's over 5 minutes again. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this orchestral remix of Lugia's Song!

I've always connected with this song ever since I was a little girl. The remix is amazing, like I'm about to go save the world. I never understood why so many people knocked Pokemon. The music was out of this world. This remix is a masterpiece. My heart can't comprehend the emotion this gives me.

@@JakeMenear Any time. Never lose sight, you have a real gift. I mean that. You really understood and conveyed what this song feels like the first time you ever hear it. I didn't think that was even possible.
People only knock Pokemon because it's popular. It doesn't matter how beloved something is. Once it becomes popular, people turn against it. Which makes no sense.
@@scottmccurdy6493 Everything has to have its haters, I guess. My opinion is that people forgot that Pokémon is first and foremost a series of kids’ games, and so they’re never really in-depth on game design or anything like that... but sometimes people hold them to the same standards as AAA games that take 5-10 years to make.
You can tell the same people who did this originally, also did Yu-Gi-Oh. There are some cues in the song that scream Yu-Gi-Oh.

I love this version, the original song is too short and so the other remixe too. But this one is ... wonderfull and épic like the original one !

I personally like the brass additions. I've heard plenty of covers where Lugia's song was made softer, and while they are wonderful in their own right, they do kinda feel like a dime a dozen. This remix feels like a true remix; true to the original tune, but not afraid of doing something different.
The brass feels like the oncoming of a pirate fleet getting ready to attack a merfolk temple!

i know this is a thousand years to late but i would love to hear a version of this that hits as hard as the opening does more constantly (still the best orchestration of a powerful version of this song out there love the work you must have put into this.)

I'm sad you made it so "epic" at some moments, I don't think it goes well with the piece.
But the "soft"/vocal moments are maybe my favorite version so far !!!

I’m not really one for the ‘epic’ music either but sadly there doesn’t seem to be much of an audience for softer, more delicate pieces of music (unless it’s classical haha). I do plan to release more gentle music in the future though!
