- In this Udon Thani nightlife travel vlog we show what to expect when visiting this city in northeast Thailand. I spent 2 days here walking around and exploring Udon Thani and decided to film the nightlife for you guys. I start out along Soi Samphanmit and go past Nutty market.
This is the Island Hopper TV Highlights channel. Travel with IHTV around the world to show you another side of adventure. We explore Asia, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and much more!
Nice to see a video from Udon! Much more relaxed than Pattaya, and real Wife Materials!
DOA. Outstanding Walk
Whatever camera you use its crystal clear. Great camera
Great video. I was freezing the video along the way, looking at the hotels. It looks like high season, some are heavily booked. When does room availability increase? February, March?
Udon and Nong Khai are best for everything but chilled.
The Pannarai Hotel is a good value for the location. However, the many times I’ve stayed there the Wi-Fi was terrible which makes it difficult for those who need to work using a computer. Also, there can be much noise in adjoining rooms. Thanks for sharing this video.
That doesn't sound very good at all. There must be some alternative.
@@reigninblood123 I’ve stayed at the Banbua Grand Hotel on the same street many, many times. Bed and pillows are good quality, wi-fi is good. I strongly recommend Banbua Grand.
I’ve also stayed at Centra Hotel by Central Place Mall several times. Also a quality hotel. Good rooms, good wi-fi. Only a 7 minute walk to Samphan Thamit Alley. I like Centara because the Shopping Mall is connected to the hotel. Good, affordable meal options in the food court on the basement level of the shopping mall.
@@certainpeace is the city itself or the region worth going to? I am going to Phuket and maybe Bangkok soon. I wouldn't mind going somewhere off the beaten track if there's attractions around. Why would someone go here and not Bangkok or the other much more well known destinations?
@reigninblood123 I do at least one week in Udon Thani each time I am in Thailand. I prefer the smaller, slow paced towns. I try to get out of Bangkok the first day after I arrive. I live in a big city and try to escape the big city population, noises and traffic when I travel. All of the farang nightlife can essentially be found on one street. If a person enjoys, Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket, they might get bored in Udon Thani. For me, I will take Udon Thani, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai any day. There are non stop flights from DMK and BKK airports to Udon each day. Wheels up to wheels down only a 50 minute flight. Why not plan a three or four night stay there sometime if you are looking for a new place to visit?
The Soi with the bars is pronounced Soi Sampantani. Or Soi Sampan for short. Known locally as Soi Falang for obvious reasons 👍👍
It's Soi Sampan
The Banbua Grand Hotel is much better for only a few dollars more a night.
It won't be possible without the largest number of Chinese population in southeast Asia.
