Appreciate the intel, Sir. Just goes even further, in detail, to prove that soldiers and operators are not necessarily heroes, despite (for the majority of them, at least at present, while the sharp tip of the spear is being reconfigured into a gender-weird self-hatred that drives away patriots, and invites even more murderous perverts), their mostly undoubted valor.
Following orders and executing objectives is their main mission, but when, as is all too often, even almost always the case, they are used unwisely as expensively and easily expended pawns, it is often a waste.
      "Not though the soldier knew
      Someone had blundered.
      Theirs not to make reply,
      Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die."
But when it's not blunder, but nasty murder?
When they are used as agents of murder against noncombatants, especially children, it is an unblottable sin. When they are employed thusly, it demeans their oaths, and casts not only doubt and discouragement among their own ranks, and the civil populace that supports them, but on the whole business.
Would it be such a shame, if the cashiered cadres who sensibly refused the C-19 shots, regrouped, trained auxiliaries, and deprived the current masters who so degrade us all, of their commands?
      Hypothetically, of course.

Oof, I was at Camp Lemonier when this raid went pear shaped. My primary memory was of an operator getting chow at the mess hall. Someone in the line loudly and passive -aggresively said 'oh I see the special guys get to wear what ever they want..." Mind you, this guy had barely changed since getting back. So he had shorts and shower shoes on. You could have heard a pin drop. Definitely not someone's smartest move. Luckily the operator didn't bother responding.

Sad both that Chief Owens and these poor kids and civilians were killed. It's truly unfortunate when operations like this go sideways and innocents are killed, but that's the sometimes ugly reality of combatting terrorism when those groups embed themselves in civilian areas. Adults with any real world military experience know full well that not every mission is a success. Some simply fail to meet objectives, some are downright clusters. This is a risk taken, it's understood that operating in someone else's backyard is prone to Murphy's law.
We need to acknowledge these failures along with the successes, learn from them, and craft better plans as a result of those lessons.

Good to know, theres someone reporting not just the hollywood version of special operations, but all of "the good, the bad and the ugly" (see what i did there?). Though compared to most channels it took a while to develop an ear to understand everything you say.

How do people feel about this? American as well as allied lives are invaluable.
If you don't know this guy is there absolutely, don't go. Little kids got killed as well as members of the teams. I don't like this. It's not worth it. I applaud the General for his accepting responsibility.

It’s not at all confusing as to why The White House would describe this failure as an “overwhelming success” when you consider that Sean Spicer was the press secretary for the Trump administration. He described everything he ever did as “the best ever”.

Special Ops are extremely dangerous. That's why we have specially trained personnel. Because of t.v. and movies, people think they are always successful. For the trivial reasons, things can go south in a moment. The injury and deaths of so many kids is terrible. The thing that bothers me the most, however, is why we lost the Osprey. For a pilot, who lands on a heaving flight deck, it seems strange that he crashed during a pick up. I think there is some information that has not been released. In so many of these instances, it seems there is a failure of the air assets. Why is that?q

@Logan_Star_69 I don't deny that at all. My question is what went wrong in this case? I'm pretty sure the military doesn't expect 50% failure on a mission because they are difficult to fly. There wasn't anything said about they plane being under fire, or the pickup spot was very difficult. I just think something seems to be missing.

    • @LukavsTheWorld
      @LukavsTheWorld Рік тому +1

@@TML340 That’d be my guess. There’s really no way to counter the wash from all of the dirt that kicks up. It’s gonna happen. However, there’s a level of training there that should take hold & prevent an accident. Either way, we don’t have the full story. Many of these ops are washed in one way or another. Sadly, we’ll never get the full story of most ops conducted. They don’t want embarrassment, they’ll give us a nibble and leave the rest beneath the sand. I feel bad for these guys having to go out there and get these jobs done and bare all of that weight.
