Here are my first impressions of the Republic of San Marino!
San Marino is my 80th country so far and I wanted to spend a couple of days there to really see it. This is what to expect if you visit San Marino.

To get there, I traveled via train from Bologna to Rimini and then got the local bus (for 5euro) to San Marino. It was easy!

San Marino is a beautiful country. You are right, it seems like medieval time and relax to visit in winter. If i travel to italy i will go to San Marino.

@@TheLifeOfJord yes!! Argentina is a beautiful country with amazing places to visit ! There are huge mountains and sky centers in the south of Argentina.
I recommend going to Bariloche and Mendoza. You have to go Buenos Aires too. The city is very big and there are a lot of attractions.

This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
My family is from here and I'm a citizen by bloodline. It's an amazing place to visit any time of the year. If you ever go to Italy, we usually fly to Bologna, then take the train to Rimini and from there you have to take a quite expensive taxi about 15km. It's unfortunate, but worth the trip. Rimini has an airport, but it's easier to get more accommodating flight times from the US to Bologna. They used to have a train line a long time ago but it's old and doesn't run.

I spent 3 nights there and couldn't get enough. Absolutely gorgeous and under-visited .... these short coach stops during extended tours from Italy do NO-ONE any justice.

On December 22nd I went there, it was a Sunday and it was totally full of people like I couldn’t even walk on the street! But it was one of my favourite trips!

TheLifeOfJord I’m from San Marino, and yes, during Christmas it’s all open and there are street markets, ice skating and lot of people (from December 1 to January 7th I guess). While during winter there is no one around, my best friend and I usually went out for dinner and after we used to have a walk around each tower. It was extremely rare to meet somebody. But during summertime, late spring and the beginning of Autumn there is a lot of people.

I've revisited San Marino in December - its a wonderful place! You can get a passport stamp at the Tourism office!!!
Been there maybe 16 years ago and there wasn’t any cable car. I was 13 years old and it was quite a hike for me 😁 it’s pretty for day trip! Safe travels. Cheers from Colombia!
Kristyna & Romain I’m from San Marino and I can guarantee you that the cable car is there since more than 50 years 😅, maybe more (I’ve just asked my dad, who’s 53, and he said it was there since he was a kid). Obviously it was improved three times, the last time was 2 or 3 years ago.

I was just there 3 weeks ago. I'll be honest I didn't *love* it but that could have to do with the fact that I stayed 3 nights. It'd be a nice place to go for a few hours though
