@@Simon0 A different ending (strangely, I find the normal ending to be superior). The game has unlockables too but I think they are all accessible through the Challenge mode.

I have a serious question here... What hardware or software the pleople of AGDQ uses to project the game in the DS to another device? please help with this. Congratulations for Mr. K, he is one of my idols in the SPEEDRUN WORLD. I love CONTRA and also I´m practicing some speedruns too.
I have a 3DS that's been hardmodded with a recording program and a micro USB port sticking out of the back. This allows me to display the game onto different monitors. Maybe that's what they're using here?

Contra 4 is so amazing! I've only beat this game on hard mode twice. But I was using the 99 lives konami code.
