Never pull the spaghetti from the bottom to take an immediate bite that’s where the heat is most concentrated… only skim the top and sides. Love watching you eat your pasta!❤

I learned to eat hot spaghetti by simply slurping the living hell out of it lol I also let my salivary glands go wild and that cools things down fast. I’ve eaten spaghetti straight off the pot with meat sauce recently and crushed about as much as she ate. It’s just challenging at first. Well done Katina!

I loveeeee italian food BUT i can't eat it (in restaurants)..i feel sad about that..Can not handle olive oil...So i just make it myself without that oil..Blah hate that oil..BUT Katina you rock!
From what I understand, the heat from spices/peppers doesn’t actually burn your mouth. It just feels that way. This is an interesting, possibly illegal, twist on a beat the heat challenge. Eating food above a certain temperature can actually be very harmful. I read something about throat cancer and constantly exposing your throat to hot liquid/food/smoke are linked 🤷♂️

Outside edges cool off first. If you work around the top edge and spiral in from there, you will have less hot bites. The middle is the densest part of the food so retains the heat the most. Edge to center, top to bottom.
What are the rules? Does the restaurant allow stirring or lifting the noodles before you start or does the bowl remain untouched before you start the timer?
