I would like to try and make this pattern, in a smaller scale for a window dressing. If I use a 3mm thread would it make a smaller version of this pattern?

Oh, I love this. I just subscribed.. I used to do macrame as a young girl and loved it. I want to start again thanks to your lovely video. I am so curious, please someone tell me how much time should I account for to create this project? And what is the approximate cost of fordable needed to get started, please? Rough estimates are fine, I just have no idea - I haven't been a young girl in quite some time....lol

I'm not familiar with the price of the cords available in your country or any international online stores where you can purchase them. Sorry.

(2*750cm) times 12 for the rod hooks= 18000cm
(8*600cm) times 12 for each rod= 57600cm
so a total of 75600cm (756meter) was used for the curtain
Hello, don't times it. It means 750 cm each cord.
If I want my finished curtain to be 3 feet long, would I just cut the cords half as long as you have them for a 6 foot long curtain so the cords would be 375cm instead of 750 cm?
You can add another pattern or minus 90cm to make it sure.
I am using 3mm cord for this pattern... im guessing um going to need a lot more than you used to complete it for a 1.5 metre drop and 2.1metre width... im a novice and just finding my fingers with it... thank you for sharing

Hello! Oh sorry, I'm not sure, but once you make this tutorial you will know how many cords you need and the length. :)
0.75×2×12+(0.6×8×12) = 75.6m
So 75,6meters total is my estimate though might be over estimating since I am not sure if all 8 of the 0.6m strings should be added on the end pices so I could end up with one set of 8 extra

Hi, I would like to know the amount of metres I would need, please.
I counted it. It is in total 708 meters. 2 x 7,5 meters, and that 12 times, is total 180. And than the extra 8 x 6 meters, and that 11 times, is total 528 meters. So together, that is 708.
