    odlicno kao i uvek

      +gonzozr i ja sam prije koristio pritiskanje s gornje strane ali ovo je definitivno puno lakše a i brže je.

    I like this design, simple is always better.
    I have a couple of suggestions for you.
    Instead of a clamp to hold the press shut, what about making a key to twist and hold the device together. Just drop it in, turn it to lock. Once pressed, turn the key back, pull it out and viola. press opens up.
    The second suggestion is to weld a hinge on the lever and the cross bar. That would hold the lever in place, preventing slippage.
    Let me know what you think.
    Jeff

    Have you ever tried making a hand-cranked press? I was thinking in terms of a gear-reduction to a cam. If you used a chambered nautilus shape for the cam. you could just continue forward to reset. After the maximum was reached, it would drop back to the beginning with no reversing required.

    That style press looks like a foot pedal would be good to use also. Very nice idea. It could also use return springs so nobody gets a pinched finger trying to make the pistons go back down.

    A simple lever defeats technology. This is a super press and will be the one I make. Now, what to do with an 8 ton car jack? LOL
    Best Wishes, Brendan.

    Very clever design! I want to make one aswell but i am kinda lost in the dimentions of the whole project. Can you enlighten us?

    • @Mladen365
      @Mladen365  9 років тому

      +GPerrozzz most important are chambers and pistons,chambers are 8x12 cm and 1o cm high,pistons are little smaller around 7,5 cm x 11,5 cm but hight is bigger so that you can press briquettes out of chambers,the rest you can make as you wish

    Could you make a video of the whole proccess making something out of it? Just to learn how you manage to make it so accurate.

    • @Mladen365
      @Mladen365  7 років тому +1

      It is nothing complicated,you need 10x10cm metal tube,cut on lenght of 10 cm,weld together,then you need 4 pistons that fit into that 4 pieces,put some cover on top,put car jack under the pistons and start to press,the easyest way to make briquettes is my coulking gun briquette press,just buy one and start making small briquettes,i will also make one press from wood,greeting

      Don't have anything,every project i made i made it without drawing,messure,straight from head,i imagine how it has to be and start making,by this press i remember what i learn in school,to move big object or to make pressure you just need big lever,the same is by this press,4 10x10 cm chambers welded together with 4 pistons,it cant be more simple,greeting

      I like the design and the speed, but the pressure is not as much as a car jack, not a 2-ton one, anyway. Your lever, I guess, is about 60 inches (5 foot) long. If the distance between your load and the fulcrum is 6 inches and the distance between the fulcrum and your force is 54 inches, then your force can be multiplied by 54/6, or 9. To match the force of a 2-ton car jack you would have to exert 4000/9, or 444 pounds, on the end of the lever. You could reduce that to 222 pounds if you used a lever twice as long. If your car jack can only lift a ton (or 2000 pounds), and you weighed 222 pounds, and you put all your weight on the end of that lever, the force would be the same as the 1-ton jack.I would use the lever to close most of the distance and extract the briquettes, but I would use a car jack after the lever force is exhausted, to compress the briquettes just a little more, for a better product that is more compact and takes less time to dry. I saw one example of that on UA-cam, just one. Not a lot of pumping if you use the jack for just the last part. If your priority is saving time, of course, your demonstration shows that this design works just fine. If you are seriously needing to crank out briquettes and it's not just a hobby (like it is for me), you would probably go for the lever alone, I know I would.Thanks for all your efforts, I can tell you love to design and build stuff, my favorite is the set you made for your niece, that was sweet.
