Excelent videos! I learn so much from them, and they give me hope that some of this complex art can be made free hand, with lots of practice, of course ;-), but it can be done! So THANKS A LOT! I'm glad to have found this channel! See ya!!!!!
Amazing. What module cutter is this? Looks like it smaller than the smallest 0,3 module commonly available. Is it? I'am working on a miniature motorcycle model in 1:18 scale, and just tonight completed a gear cutting setup on my MN-80 lathe. But the smallest module I found for sale is 0,3. Is this the one you are using here, or are there smaller ones?
You are one clever guy

Could you show the setup you used? For example the index plate and the setup of the cutting apparatus.
Yes, I'm currently moving my shop, so give me some time.

Where do you get the gear cutters?
On the used market. Whenever I see them reasonably priced, I get them. I have a drawer full of them.
Stupid question but you wouldn't possibly be will to do make or repair clock gears for others would you?
I only make gears up to 1" or 24mm in diameter so.... depends on the clock gear.
good try, and you have nice tools
