When I lived in korea around 2010 i would see broodwar on tv and they would always show a bit of the player POV so we could see their macro/micro and seeing how fast and mechanical it was was what really got me interested. I wish they'd do that a little nowadays

Such a class guy. Watching him flounder the last couple of seasons has been hard but I'm glad to see him laboring his way up in the series. I remember being at the WCG Cologne in 2008 as a pure spectator. There wasnt any real stages at the start of the tournament so it looked more like a causal LAN-party. When Jaedong played, there was an arc of people (including myself ofc) just standing there asking themselves "is this for real?". Especially when Jaedong was kiting Archons with his mutalisks. I remember Tasteless being there aswell. Great times.

It is humbling how he never lost fan favour in recent seasons regardless of the result. People really wanted this.
