MORGAN!!!! MY DANCE TEACHER
Excellent performance ... Morgan the best...Thank you very much for the pleasure ...👏👏👏💓
Grandissimo Dougie Mac Lean !!
The tune is The Last of the Mohicans....not The Gael. Xx
Pauline Kelly Unfortunately Pauline the music is The Gael written by Dougie Mclean a wonderful songwriter from Dunkeld in Scotland get on UA-cam and check him out.
Stewart Neilson I know who Dougie McLean is.
Stewart Neilson Some people have a problem accepting that the Gael is a Scottish song, jealous I presume of a beautiful piece of music.
Duncan I'm Scottish why would I be jealous ? If you were referring to me that is...sorry if you weren't.
Pauline Kelly it is “The Gael” by Dougie MacLean and it was adapted for the movie “The Last of the Mohicans” by Trevor Jones and for the movie it is called “Promontory”.
seeing someone dance around with a smile on their face to such a harrowing tune is ...just wrong.
OneShotPaddy justify your judgement on this tune being harrowing.
@@walkernick86 Lyrically, the song is about two miserable people reminding each other that there's still time for things to get better.
Aurally it's that Irish wailing style and composition that sets a stark tone. It's not a happy happy dancing tune.
@OneShotPaddy I know what you're saying, the tune, especially the original (for me) is very somber and and haunting. This particular rendition is a bit more lively, so it fits okay and the dancing was great, but a melancholy vibe is deeply ingrained in the melody, so the smiling seems a bit off.
