But a woman who becomes hysterical when her boyfriend doesn't come home from a party at a friend's house and starts looking for him in piles of snow, then cuts off any contact with his family the next day is completely normal.

So ole man here had a night out bar hopping, a house party, an intimate butt dial, a butt answer?, a body in his yard, a dog rehoused, a phone upgrade, a basement reinvaded, sold his family home. All while having besties in law enforcement. Regardless of the outcome this Netflix series is about to be top chart😂 Karen has money and connections because this defense is enough. I’m sus of everyone and everything at this point. No one has proven anything yet. Also judge is tired and has a lot of air in them lungs because the way she lets it all out at the same time in that mic makes me think she could be Luke’s father.

In my opinion it doesn't matter who is guilty or innocent, the State Police did not do their job investigating and there not affording the defendant a fair trial.

It matters in the sense that the guilty must be held accountable and sentenced appropriately. IMO, multiple individuals are complicit in this case. Likely more than one person committed the murder, and many more are part of the ongoing frame-up / cover-up. I hope there's a special brand of justice for those who've held positions of public service for the corruption and deceitfulness they've been a part of.
Who is innocent or guilty certainly matters to the victim's family & friends. Likewise the defendant, their family & friends.

Really, I thought he did an awful job during this day, in particular. He is acting like he is prepared, but is trying to claim 8 different possible scenarios to create doubt. At this point in time, he has tried to insinuate that every single person there killed John in multiple different manners, none of which are really reasonable.

This judge is the MOST biased nasty judge I have ever seen. She is refusing to let the defense do it's job and defend the accused. People are clearly lying and conveniently "not recalling" events. Yet the same people remember things so specific as to whether or not their cell phone was plugged in on a certain evening. I was not on either side beginning to hear this case but this judge is rude, clearly keeping out evidence, and her actions alone are convincing me of the innocence of the accused.

The way i understood it is that Albert butt dialed Higgins for 1 second and then Higgins phoned him back, probably because he just had that call, and let the phone ring for 22 seconds before it went to voicemail, but he didn't leave a voicemail and hung up. That makes more sense than planning a conspiracy in 22 seconds.

When the defense asked the simple question of “who is Katie McLaughlin?” She went on and started saying too much about her relationship with Katie, that’s how you know she’s lying.

The fact that the defense is forced to give details to Judge Vader for approval on how they will question a witness is wild to me. But, then again, she has interrupted defense in the middle of a question. I think she was panicking that her number was on that list of calls from Brian Albert.

As to what will happen after that - who knows but I fear John O'Keefe and his loved ones will never get justice.
That doesn’t seem to be how people, jury’s included, make their decisions unfortunately. It’s a sort of legal fantasy and ideal, in reality people just treat it as if they’re being asked “what do you think happened?” and must make a decision either way. Effectively if you can’t convince a jury the persons innocent, they’ll say guilty.
Too much reasonable doubt. Karen will be innocent.

Okeefe got into an argument inside the house fairly quickly. (Yelling & or physical) The dog attacked okeffe he fell down the basement stairs, cracked his head. Everyone in the house panicked, put him in the street to make it look like he was hit by a plow.

mr albert wanted to comfort female friend the day of the incident but he didn't want to comfort karen reed and he didn't want to go out into the yard when mr o'keefe's body was laying there and the paramedics showed up
Also, I hate how he keeps calling Karen the “defendant”. He’s the only witness who calls her that. It’s so disgusting, and clearly purposeful language to malign her. I really hate this guy and hope he gets what is coming to him.
Attorney Jackson is fantastic.
I feel like every conviction Albert has given evidence for in the line of his work should be independently reviewed. He comes across as being very well practised at lying on the stand to suit his agenda, and any confirmation of facts he has provided cannot be regarded as accurate given his significant memory issues.

Jackson has lost 3 out of 85 trials. He has a 96% success rate. He would not have gotten on this trial if he didn’t know it was a slam dunk. If I had a loved one die and lally was appointed prosecutor I’d be appalled. Only trial lally is winning is suing anyone who approved or recommended his hair style

When there is blizzard like conditions in Boston, it is very hard to hear outside what is going on because of the wind, etc. The police cars and emergency vehicles did not have sirens on. It was a very snowy early morning.
How old is that Albert kid ? He looks like he’s in his 50s already!
Didn’t Nicole Albert say she saw Colin in the house, Brian Sr said Colin wasn’t there(?), Brian Jr said Colin was maybe there, and then they are saying Jen came in after Colin, but Nicole possibly said Jen came in before Colin?
Why don't they ask how the dog reacted when Jen came in their bedroom and when the cops were down stairs waiting for them. Did the dog bark. They should have asked if the dog is a barker at everything or not!

It was a whole concrete slab that was removed, not just carpet. Why would you do all of this remodeling in the "basement" when you're planning to sell your house?

Could it have been the guys were in the basement/workout room messing around/play fighting that got out of control, leaving blood on the carpet and concrete which would need to be removed to hide evidence???
@@andracobb7900 I heard that there was so much blood that it soaked into the concrete under the carpet. I believe this will come up in the trial (hopefully). I think I heard it on the video called "detective believes Karen Read is innocent"... he has a lot of info that we haven't heard in the trial yet.
I think John may have fallen down the doors leading to the basement and busted his head, died, and everyone went into panic mode. Of course, I have no idea. But, the time-lines just don't add up for a fight to break out so quickly. But, you never know when alcohol is involved... it takes seconds for someone drunk to get froggy!
I don't believe it was a simple accident the dog attacked him because the families of officers wouldn't go to the lengths to cover it up. But if it was an assault and unintentional throwing him out turned to murder definitely

Judge Vader can’t stand to see her bestie being questioned so strongly. She literally interrupted a cross exam in the middle of a question. She is doing everything possible to hinder this court case. I wonder how many times her number shows up in his call history. I wish the defense would ask him if he has any relationship with the judge.
