My dad my brother and I went on one of the special trains in the early 60’s. I remember I think getting to Parsley Hay in real coaches then we were in open wagons for the rest of the trip to Middleton Top. I remember the incline which then was still operational but the thing I remember most was it was cold and rainy and we were miserable.
