Lewis: I don't speak Spanish
Pedro: Do you have anything against Spain???
That escalated quickly.
Alonso lol
oh my god i had no idea almodovar had been on this show
Strangely enough it was for promoting about the only film of his that got a bad review Im So Excited
Me too! Minutes ago I watched a recent little clip showing Penelope Cruz by video call and probably Almodóvar on the stage, I searched for the full interview, it isn't available but I found this other clip.
Then I noticed it was almost 10 years ago, and, for me, this is the most actual scene I saw from him... I wish I had seen him more often.
@@65g4, Los Amantes Pasajeros? Yes, I went to the movie theatre excited, but it was disappointing... I got the idea of the intended mood and style, on many points it hit (such as the perfect performances, photography, sound, crazy plot and surreal situations), but the movie lacks something to work. I don't know what is, but some change would turn it into a delightfully fun movie.
I mean... You have a genius like almodovar in front of you and the only thing you can do is jokes about his name, so British are so brilliant
Lewis "except for Fernando"
Thanks for posting.
i'm italian and i've never heard his surname pronounced in my country the way he say we do, actually
Andrea Roll Infatti, anch'io l'ho sempre sentito pronunciato correttamente.
I'm agree, I was confused hearing that, I'm spanish and normally we either don't have any problem to pronunce Italian names properly, or really close at least.
Still, just because youve never heard it doesnt mean it doesnt happen 😉
@@greyLeicester lol right? I’m sure Pedro is the expert on the matter considering it’s HIS name.
Esatto un italiano lo pronuncia bene così come è scritto però chissà almodovar nel pieno della sua gentilezza non voleva mettere in ridicolo chi solo parla inglese e non sa pronunciare nessuna parola decente in un'altra lingua che non sia inglese
"You have anything against the spain?"
"No..."
ummm... Fernando ring any bells Lewis?
lol just kidding :L
He forgot to say that his family name almodovar comes from the arabic « al modawwar », meaning « the rounded »
well he is round
He probably doesnt know that lol
host : pronounces the name properly.
guest : no, here is 50 ways to mispronounce it.
Genius
Hola Pedro, te quiero mucho! I want to be in your next movie! I am the redman on the redchair from the Graham Norton Show!
Aldosamovar leeeeeeeewl!
Te quiero Pedro !!!🏆😉😘
I don't think people understand Pedro Almodóvar talking.... Flirting with Lewis Hamilton, anyway, has been very cool and funny.
Flirting?
So I have been saying it correctly! I thought I might be wrong, because I saw Rosalía saying AlmodovAr, and she is spanish, so...
He just taught me how to say my own last name btw im not related to him
That's like a very easy name, come on
Well, for me, yes, but I pronounce the V not as B, with the v corta.
Jodó que raro es el tío y cómo se enrolla...
Hamilton said quite a lot of nonsense about Spain (the stereotypes of bullfighting and so on) as if in Spain all the people were bullfighters and stuff.
Bravo 👏👏👏
no.
