First rate tutorial. Wasn't bored and learned Action Strikes inside out in 40 minutes, so now I'm getting best value out of this expensive plugin. Good job!
Thanks you, excellent video. I would really dig seeing more MIDI examples like you had near the beginning. Especially applied in a musical context (with other tracks). A sequel?
Sorry. No sequel. Generally you cannot program loops with dynamics. All individual hits can be. And if you happen to not be familiar with programing midi. Just find the Piano Roll in your DAW and start playing. Thanks!
Great tutorial, man, much obliged! Would love to see more tutorials with this much depth covering other NI plugins... they seem to be too few and far between.
Really good video. It's a shame that NI keep rehashing this loop style engine, it's just so confusing and limited. They should take a leaf out of Toontrack's book, the EZDrummer browser and song editor are so simple and intuitive.
Hello man, great tutorial!!! I have a question...is there any way where you can control the expression and the accent without without the mod wheel or the pitch wheel? maybe a knob or a fader ?
Fantastic tutorial! I'm thinking about buying action strikes. Will action strikes work properly with the free version of kontakt? What is even the difference between the payed version and the free version of kontakt?
It’s intended to be used in a DAW. You would export the audio our of your DAW. If you’re on Mac, Garagband is free, on PC Reaper has a good trial that will work. Using Strikes in a DAW is the most common workflow.
Check out other Native Instrument tutorials on my channel.
Brilliant BRILLIANT tutorial.
NI should be paying for you this - one of the best instrument tutorials I've ever seen.

This is ridiculously good. Thank you. I've been lazy with Strikes, no more.

Whats better, Action Strikes or Hans Zimmer London Percussions?
I like Action Strikes enough to recommend it. But, I do not use the Hans Zimmer. So I don't know. Maybe someone else will chime in.
Damn good tutorial.
Thank you, Marcus!
Hello man, great tutorial!!! I have a question...is there any way where you can control the expression and the accent without without the mod wheel or the pitch wheel? maybe a knob or a fader ?
It's not obvious to me. I took a peak, maybe through Kontakt player, but couldn't figure it out in a few mins.

How do you save this as a mp3 or wav file? There's no option for it and it makes the program usesless

Yw
Voiceover is way too loud. Can't hear the instrument!
Der quasselt wie ein Wasserfall. Von dem, was er da macht, hört man fast gar nichts.
Great tutorial!
Thank you, Conny!
