I vote a red/silver Kreinik or petite treasure braid. There are some that have silver run through with the color. Then it’s the best of both worlds. That’s my plan anyway!
Good to hear and see you are feeling better😃. The shoes should be silver as in book, i think they changed the colour for the film to show up better. I think we just automatically think of them as red due to the film. Have a good week. Stay safe and well🤗🇬🇧
Yes those shoes should be silver. If that top image wasn't on a book, I would go red because the red shoes are iconic. But you are right, they are on a book so they should be silver.
I'm going to take a gander and say that most people haven't read the book. I've read a few from the series but never that one. Are you keeping the piece of gifting it? If gifting, do they know the shoes are silver, or would it seem "wrong" to them? Also, regarding the cap, you can make a piece and pin it in place. I crocheted a piece with hearts for my daughter's cap and pinned it in place with white- and teal-headed pins around the edge. They served as decorative elements and as a temporary means to hold the piece on.
@@dontrunwithscissors9802 thank goodness we didn’t have to pay for each cord. Cassie looked like Mr T with all of her medals and cords! But we even had to pay separately for her tassel. Wth?!

I agree with @coffee-ness about the shoes! 💝

that's my thinking too. =)
First generation still applies to you! It is based solely on your parents earning a degree BEFORE you earned your first one. 💕💕💕

What about cross stitching some words in sign language
We paid a small fortune for Cassie’s cap and gown for her high school graduation. I’m not looking forward to paying for Sarah’s next year. 💀
i was floored when they said how much!
