Loved your flosstube, ladies. I was starting to wonder how long Kathy was planning to be gone since she is a monogamous stitcher!! Kathy, your husband was on the right track asking about putting paper towels on your cabinet tops. A roll of waxed paper is just the right width to cover those cabinets and keep all the dust and grease off the cabinets. It is easy and inexpensive to wad up, pitch in the trash and replace.
I cut my travel stash waaaaaayyyy back! Lol!!😂

Thanks for another great episode, always feels like visiting with a friend. Molly, the beads should stay secure and centered if you attach them with a full cross stitch rather than a half stitch. The light weigh interfacing is a great work around, just adds another layer to stitch through.

Thank you both for all the inspiration you provide. I'm finally going back and completing the last bit of stitching on a lot of projects that I set aside. Each one probably needs only a few hours to one day's worth of work on it. Why do I do it? I quit when I need some backstitching, can't find the elusive color that I need, have a little frogging to do, need to add metallic thread, or dreaded doing a lot of French knots. I'm a quitter (!) and I hate being this way. But you both are good examples for me; showing all your gorgeous finished projects. Now I have hope, and will try to persevere when things get difficult. I have been cross-stitching for 50 years now and love it!
And so very rewarding when finished! You should enjoy all your hard work! You got this!!!

I stitch on perforated paper without the frame. I use the poke and stab method…even though I stitch “in hand”. I think I am going to get me a frame just so my paper doesn’t crease. Love your video.

Molly I just ordered the magazine with the sunflowers in it. I found it on eBay, a little pricey but I could not remember date of magazine. I'm so excited, it will be here Aug. 5, God willing and the creek don't rise

Molly those very small Mill Hills are so easy to stitch in hand. They work up nice. Or you could get those magnetic frames. Just an FYI they can take some time to get to you. But they are very nice. I got the full set of 4 sizes.

Molly, I would love to see and learn how you made your Floss Drops when you’re flying solo. I have not been able to find the Low Branch pattern. I really like the saying so I may have to “borrow” it and come up with my own design around it 🤷♀️

Hint - You don't have to take the mesh bag apart to stitch the design. The best way to do it is to have the bag upside down and that way you have plenty of room for your hands to do the stitching. Make sure that you are also reading the pattern upside down.
