- Hungarian PM Viktor Orban held a meeting with former US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on March 8. Orban was accompanied by his closest staff members, including the Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, among others.
“After the meeting, the programme continued with a joint dinner and concert,” said the Hungarian government spokesperson Bertalan Havasi. The Former US President feted Orban with a tour of his residence and dinner with former First Lady Melania Trump.The spokesman did not disclose which topics Orban and Trump discussed during their hour-long meeting in Florida.
However, ahead of Orban’s trip to the US, Hungarian officials said they would discuss the situation in Ukraine and US-Hungary ties.

The word 'dictator' should not be thrown around randomly. The Hungarian population voted for the immigration issue, the gay and abortion issues and regarding the Ukranian war. While Hungary accepted droves of refugges from Ulranaia, the population prefer peace talks and stop the killings. Hungary as a landlock country does not have access to maritime harbours and commerce; it has to acquire energy from Russia which they do. Orban voted in four times as he represent the best interest of Hungary for sure. There is no other European leader compared to him at present. What Biden represent no one knows, but it is not the American agenda.
