This season really made it hard for me to choose who belly should end up with, it’s like so much has happened i want her with Conrad but then with Jeremiah, so whoever belly choose i think I’ll be okay with it, both boys are good to her and deserve her in different ways, hopefully belly can see the one she really wants and stops playing with Jeremiah’s heart because he really loves her.

Honestly, I thought I could be happy with the Conrad and im usually all team bad and moody but man. Jeremiah? He is just perfect. They have so much chemistry, he is so sweet, he knows how to communicate. He doesnt just shut down and leaves her in the dark. He is way better for her in the show as of right now. Poor boy.

I've gotten hints from some of the folks who read the books that Jeremiah will do something that may change my feelings toward him. But man, rn I'm all about Team Jere. I'm over these emotional unavailable, moody boys who can't use their words. Conrad needs a therapist, not a girlfriend. I'm all about uplifting, positivity and healthy relationships. It would be a nice twist if for once the nice guy gets the girl over the so called bad boy archetype. But I know the teen angst probably won't go that route. I'll just enjoy Jere/Belly while they last.

I don’t love Jere but I understand why people prefer him to Conrad, he has a friendly character once you understand him, and you start to feel sorry for him and realise he’s not just the nice guy who’s been played. He goes about things in the wrong ways sometimes, feels differently in ways that are similar and different to Conrad, puts on a fake face for people he loves but he isn’t right for Belly. Jere is sweet, compassionate and an overthinker at times while he struggles, building up all this emotion from holding everything in much like Conrad. But in reality Jere will never be right for Belly, he sees Belly as the girl he’s liked “forever”, his best friend the girl he wants to be in his life forever but Belly plays him, Belly just sees him as a distraction, a platonic best friend, leads him on, and tries to convince herself she can settle with Jere while she loves Conrad more than anyone, Jere needs someone easier because he isn’t able to challenge Belly the way Conrad does and understand her the same way, he needs someone who will always be there for him and not someone like Belly who doesn’t know what she wants. Even Cam is thrown to the side while she’s waiting for Conrad, for Belly it will always be Conrad, and for Conrad he will realise it was always Belly, you can see how much Conrad loves Belly through the emotion he feels when he’s with her, the sudden rush of happiness and joy he gets out of just being near her, with her, in comparison to when he’s alone, isolating himself because of his mental health, grieving of Susannah, and his dad. When Jere bottles all his emotions up we see how he truly acts when he shows it, the nice guy with a fake face when he shoots fireworks at Belly and Conrad ,ruining their first kiss, going on to kiss her next episode, it doesn’t sit right with me because it feels like she is he goal to finally accomplish something Conrad hasn’t, and take that away from him because he’s the more jealous younger brother even if he still likes her. And if you have read the books they weren’t “on break” in my opinion plus even if they were you don’t sleep with someone when ur with “the love of ur life” !remember all my opinion! When we see how Jere acts towards Conrad when he’s angry or jealous for example the Deb Ball scene or the fight after the party where he calls Conrad a coward and uses Belly to attempt to frustrate him, accusing Conrad of pushing Belly to the side when he was looking after his own mental state and trying to be what Belly wanted him to be while in reality he can’t with his overflow of emotions. When Conrad talks about belly to Cleveland (the guy Laurel is hooking up with, dating) he says how he wants to start something with belly but he doesn’t wanna fuck it up and in another scene he says “it hurts, my chest physically hurts, to not be able to tell her I’m in love with her”, showing he wants to express emotion but is struggling too because of his mental state. And at the end of S2 (SPOILERS!) Belly ends up with Jere while they leave Conrad isolated while if we flashback to the start Conrad and Belly decide not to get together because of Jere, to protect him. Also, in the 4th of July scene when Conrad and Belly and talking, laughing together after dinner Jere is jealous (ofc it’s fine to be jealous but the way he handles it). After Belly leaves Jere privately “confronts” Conrad for talking with a girl he likes, and says “Next time we meet, tell me that you guys (Belly and Conrad) are going to be together” and going back to the fight with Jere and Conrad, he accuses Conrad for pushing Belly away when really he was the separation between them. Also, in the 4th of July scene when he shows he jealousy he is looking at Conrad and not Belly “the love of his life”, this to me shows a sense of jealousy towards Conrad having something he doesn’t, as he’s looking at Conrad. Jere’s reaction to Conrad and Belly is “he’s going to break ur heart” while Conrad’s is “take care of her, I’m sorry for trying to mess things up” you don’t see Jere apologising or coming forward about shooting the firework, and people may see the statement “my genius plan to stay pissed at her, keeping her arms length is a failure” as romantic, but I see pure jealousy and toxicity. Conrad was “toxic” when he was hurt, struggling Jere was when he was jealous. Jere will know what makes her happy, Conrad will know why she is happy and be the reason to make her happy. In the volleyball scene Belly has a known handshake with Conrad while we Jere he needs to learn one she has with Taylor, Conrad and Belly have a stronger bond than her and Jere, Conrad knows all the little things and is the reason she has half of her memories (glass unicorn, Junior Mint, Infinity) , notices them, Jere wants to make her happy. There is a difference only emotionally intelligent people understand. Being in a relationship with Jere is like walking on eggshells for Belly (even though she is the egg ik ik😂) while being in one with Conrad allows her to be able to express herself, be open, honest and true. Team Bonrad❤
