- A review of Tamiya's, 1/35 scale, Panzer IV Ausf D, model kit, Kit No, 35096, released in 1985 (this kit). Originally released as a Panzer IV Ausf D variant, in 1977, some of the sprues, and parts, are copyrighted 1975, being from Tamiya's original 1975 issue, the Panzer IV Ausf H (Kit No. MM154).
This older style, reasonably detailed kit, includes 3 crew figures, in early pattern panzer uniforms, vinyl tracks, optional open or closed hatches (no interior detailing), classic style Tamiya instructions, (English/German and Japanese), with colour callouts (by name) throughout. The decal sheet included, carries both Divisional and Tactical markings, for 4 Panzer IV Ausf D's, operating in either, Poland, France, the Balkans, or North Africa.

Hi mate. Same. Can remember building these back in day. Such an easy kit to put together. Cheers!
Nice one Pete! I'm half way through this kit and it is excellent. The figures aren't the best but are still useable with a decent paint job.
Hi mate. Yeah, the figures are a bit old Tamiya, but I agree the will paint up okay. Going to drag this one out of the pile and put her together this weekend. Feel like doing something easy this weekend. Cheers!
@@PetesKits I've sent you a pic of the painted figures. I really enjoyed putting this kit together and its still a cheap kit in the UK, £16 at Hobbycraft.
