Beautiful work!! Thank you for the kind words and for using our products! With this economy, it is a struggle to compete with big box stores who refuse to handle our products. Food safe, natural products!! Tour correct, carnuba is on upwards of 180 degrees to melt, but when it dries, its the hardest organic wax known. Thank you for also doing a fine job explaining.
@SpunbyGreenJeans it's perfect for food use utility bowls! Even for the more artsy stuff too, I prefer wood that looks and feels like wood than plastic.
@ACKSWOODPASTE thanks for the chance to showcase your fine product! I hope the economy turns around soon, the craft show scene has been pretty dead, lots of people out and walking, not spending though.
Thanks for watching friends! Isn't that a cool piece of wood? That finish is beautiful stuff Isn't it. Let me know what yall think of Acks products or using abrasive pastes in general! @DisneyUpBoilerUp I wish he was more into it, he tried it once and got a pretty bad catch that really scared him. He's not into turning but I drag him out with me to collect the wood to be used. He also helps stack firewood in our roadside stand to earn some spending cash. He's a gamer🙄
I love oak & that bowl turned out beautiful. Like the finish also. I had to remove a white oak in my yard that died a few years ago. The center 20" was rotted out, but we still counted 124 rings, so it was old. I have several nice bowls out of it. I love the spur drive you were using. Liono Brad Spur Drive? Where did you get yours? I was searching the internet & didn't get any hits.
Thanks, yeah it's a shame when an old one has to come down. The turners name is Lionel Bedard, he has a 2" version like I have and one that fits 4" jaws also. www.belgreenwood.com/woodturning-tools

Beautiful piece, Ray! Cool figure in that bowl!
Thanks Billy! I'm always happy with anything that came from that particular tree.

@@Ray-DacaTimberworksWoodturning I kind of figured he was a gamer, but we can hope 🤞😜
@DisneyUpBoilerUp yeah it's definitely in Daca blood, he's a good kid and gets good grades so until that changes I cut him some slack
