as for all the changes she is forcing on her husband, if I were him, I would call in sick for the day and I would acquire the solvent to remove the nails, the forms, ETC. the next I would have gone to a men's wear store and bought everything needed, then I would rent an apartment and move into it, I wouldn't return to the house, I would go to work as a normal man, the house would already be on the market if it was pre-marital property, all my stuff would be put in storage and a signed divorce application would be on the table and a letter telling her she had to move out within a month, if it was a rented house it would only be a divorce agreement on the table and I would not return. she would need to learn to not take things to extremes.
A weak man should not be dismissive to a wife who is clearly stronger than him lol, even the strong ones shouldn't either as refusal may lead to them finding a way to force him to comply sooner or later. As it is in his place, I wouldn't have been refusing to help citing that the work was women's work, as for being forced to wear attire I didn't want to wear, well after the work was done, I would have quietly gone and changed into my normal gear and gone out, and likely also packed a bag of my clothes to put aside in case she was determined to force the issue, I would then be seeing a lawyer to help, I wouldn't want such a wife and I would leave, I would force a divorce and she would find herself single with no more than 50% of marital assets, if the house was owned prior to marriage she would find herself looking for a new home. But I will stress that I am not the kind to refuse to put in a fair share of the housework.
