So good hearing stories like these for I know we're supposed to suit up and be a soldier for God once we give Him our yes but sheesh a lot gets thrown at you pending on your assignment/anointing! I didn't realize it would be like this. We need our own support group community! The mind games the enemy likes to play and spiritual warfare during the day and in dreams can be taxing on one person BUT GOD.... Praying and bringing it all to Him/reading His word rejuvenates me every single time. Living waters indeed! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽He literally told me this year to pause my business and follow Him. Over the year, he's had me creating platforms for the kingdom of God, making videos, speaking about faith & entrepreneurship and steadily being on fire to have people get back to reading their bible. Last year I read the bible from beginning to end and it was the best decision I've ever made in my life! Praying for you fellow sister in Christ! It all can be alot but is so very much worth it. I am in similar boat. I think we are getting what we really wanted. We need to burn and let go off our selfish desire, thoughts/emotions and actions in order to really connect with God. Like Matthew 6. We shouldn't expect anything from our faith. Most of us are just spiritual merchants if grilled just a bit. We desire to attain internal and external things rather than the absolute/one/whole God. It's comfortable to live in a protected regular normal life but that's not what we asked for. We would have been 100 times more miserable if we chose that path. Cry now, "laugh" later is much more better than laugh now and cry later. We die to have true eternal life. It's just that we haven't really settled or decided on the true path completely that we suffer more than needed. There is conflict there is confusion. There are two opposite desires fighting within us. Suffering is better than oblivious corpse-like death. We must keep fighting for the whole victory and freedom. Until we let go and completely burn the parts of us that cling to lower fearful/worldly/physical/emotional comforts, the conflict will remain. Despite everything we will not suffer unnecessarily. Make the 2 eyes whole/one is one jesus said.(How deep is the darkness if not! - Jesus said). We must try to never curse God and this can be passive aggressive or hidden/subtle. We must remember to say Amen with our spirit when disturbing evil thoughts and feelings arise. Depend on God alone, not the future and not the past. We need to continually die and sacrifice our lower self on the cross. The holy bible is not perfect too. What matters is the eye of the reader. If the reader has true God-seeking devotion and desire("holy spirit"), they will be greatly helped by the bible. If not even if God manifests in the flesh, they will forget him few minutes later and go about their business. The bible is not perfect. All religions seek God in different way. Truth/message can only be transmitted when the two people have common ground/desire. There are many layers of translations when the vision is transmitted from the "mouth of God" towards printed words and into the reader. The painted words can not contain God, that's idolatry. The word can only be transmitted in its full precision and glory when it's transmitted directly from God's mouth to God's ear. Our body is a temple and when we love God, we watch with God's eye and hear with God's ears.(we are all children of God). So I implore you to strive to find God in everything not just the bible. All religions are only like like languages, they are not perfect, but they can be greatly helpful. We just need to weed out the contextual humanly stuff in their doctrine and dogma and stick to the essences. They are all one and the same. There is no reason to put our faith in a bunch of popes who had political affiliations. The prince of this world is not stupid. I ask you to check the gnostic gospels for example. Mainstream Christianity has a trap of hypocrisy like the days of the Pharisees. The heart is not really in it. Check Eastern Orthodox Christianity. The universe is our mother. I relate to your suffering. But God is always right. We should strive to accept everything with all our heart. And not need anything else. That's simply it. Matthew 6. Check the Sufis too, and tell me their devotion is not sincere.( Check Qawalli of Nusrat Fateh Ali for example). We have to completely die to be reborn again. Anything that started with fear(wrong desire) must end with fear. God is everywhere means God died to create everything(life). We must follow this original law too. Expect nothing, expect everything. A dream can also be a nightmare to bring oneself closer among what's promised 2 the opening . yes focus and wait is somewhat hard but keep pushing is a major key among all our empowerments a life-learning job.
Believers must grow daily in the Bible/Word of God. By reading 4 chapters of the Bible a day, you will complete it in one year. Continue to repeat this process each time you finish. Each go round, you will learn more and more and gain deeper understanding. God's will is in His Word and faith begins where the will of God is known. This is an excellent way to grow closer to God, understand His will and plans for us and access His promises to us. Pray to Jesus Christ daily, as if talking to a friend.
Thank you for this message and while I do agree with majority of what you said, my goal isn't to read the Bible in one year. My goal is to sit with certain passages of scripture, to understand them, and to allow Holy Spirit to unlock their truths. Essentially, I want the Word to work on me and not try to race to a particular finish line. However, I appreciate your insight. Happy Monday!

Yess!! I think the case of not walking in our authority or rightly inheritance is simply a lack of knowledge. If we knew that we are free to walk in what God called us to, then we wouldn’t be fearful to do what the Word says to be victorious! I don’t think we as a body truly understand the liberation of Jesus Christ. And believing that you’re free means to trust deeeeeply in God and take Him at His word, but that walk seems so contradictory. That’s something I’ve been battling, like stepping out of the matrix

Don’t waste your time. When the Bible is read in context it’s a story about ancient Israel not all humanity. The canon of scripture closed in 70AD.
