I literally just tried these! I think this line is a good affordable dupe for Devacurl. Especially for curlies who are in college are super tight budgets. I love my devacurl but it can make the wallet cry

I have used the Zotos. It has a great smell. It smells like you just came out of a salon. It defined my curls. The price is good it’s 9.99 at Sally’s. The only thing for me was that day two hair was fizzy. Maybe I didn’t put enough gel. ( I used the starter kit. Just to try it out). I’m going to try it again this time I’ll put more gel.
Yes! I just bought it today and my husband used it before me. I walked in the bathroom when he was in the shower and it smelled like the salon.

I tried the high definition gel a couple weeks ago and used waaaaay to much being used to gels that never hold my curl and oh man, I had the crunchiest curls ever 😂

I used an old T-shirt to squeeze and after I washed it I never combed or brushed it to hold the curl, they have so many more products for this look they didn't have in the 80's lol

im old as dirt lol but I had a Zotos Design Freedom perm hoping it would look like yours, I absolutely love your curls, My hair was fine and flat as a board so the perm took good however I couldn't get your look and I finally staring using Matrix . Love your curls

How would you compare this to Devacurl?
As I mentioned I tried it, it's a good dupe for Devacurl. The low lather is a replica of the low-poo and the nolather is a replicate of nopoo. To me they smell like light jasmine. The gels to me aren't that strong. They have a small little kit for $10 if you want to try it. it has the no lather, conditioner, styling cream and ultra gel. I personally find this to be an exact drugstore dupe for devacurl as they work the same but different ingredients but they are silicone and sulfate free

Does anyone else have problems with curly products making them break out? I’ve found so many products I can’t use without getting tons of acne around my face where my hair touches.
Me too! I get on my shoulders and lower neck area sometimes. 😝
For me, I have to wash my face right away and wipe down my shoulders and back from excess products to prevent acne. I think it’s all the oils found in the products, great for the hair, not so great for the skin
I know I do sometimes. Before the Devacurl scandal I used the low poo briefly, and I broke out all over my forehead (like cystic acne). It was terrible. I was also losing a lot of hair because of the low poo and discontinued the use. Garnier products are the only products thus far that don’t break me out.
The trick is to identify wich ingredients make you break out, look ourt for silicones, because those are thick and cloge pores real fast, also vaseline, petrolium jelly, and mineral oil do the same damage, just avoid those and you are good to go

For a person who showers at night, I was wondering if it was okay to apply the products after showering and then sleep? Would I have the same results or would it be a waste and unhealthy for my hair?

I have a similar hair type to yours, and I get some curls, waves, and a little volume when I diffuse. But after I'm done diffusing my hair flattens out and elongates in a matter of minutes. What should I do differently to keep the volume and curl pattern?

Maybe try finger coiling?? My hair is 2c/3a and ever since I started finger coiling a lot more of my curls are 3a. Hope this helps

Please help me. I wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo and when I rinsed it out my hair felt like straw, why would that happen?

No it was the first time
L. Cruz okay so when you clarify it’s so we can remove all of the buildup. So I deep condition right after. I also only clarify once a month if I need it.

I'm not loving them yet. Have used ultra definition gel, creme, and moouse. Guess the fact that they don't have a smell to them bothers me. The results are ehh so far
I'm getting alot of frizz with these products. So far I've used the soft Def gel, hi Def gel and foam. All are giving me frizz.
