Same. I’m not remotely interested in doing missions as fast as possible, I want them to be narratively satisfying. The fact that the dialogue even exists in genetic memory is because the “real” Ezio must have waited to hear it, and it stops when Ezio must have killed him. Unless one’s goal is to speed run, impatiently rushing through the assassination only detracts from the experience.
@@Sir_Poohheart i think you enjoy immersive, cinematic stealth like me. the little details in the execution, the attention to dialogue, is what makes it truly perfect.

Yeah, most of this game can be done in any way you want, thats why I love it. Don't get detected? OK, fuck the linear path, imma climb like a spidermonkey on speed.
Back when Assassins Creed was peak. I’ve played through the entire Ezio trilogy at least 5 to 6 times per game… I still hear Leonardo shouting “Ezio HERE! Over HERE!” On that boat to Venezia. I remember chasing the sons of Romulus through the tombs in Brotherhood, and the massive underground mining city from Revelations… roaming the Bazaar in Constantinople, if you listen to the audio of the crowd you could occasionally hear a parrot squawk… when you bump into a female npc she’d yell “is there a reason for this abuse?!” lol… this was peak Assassins Creed, not the rubbish we have today that’s for sure.
Also kudos to the composer Jesper Kyd. His soundtrack helped so much to make Ezio the Assassin we love. Just hearing these few seconds makes you feel the tension.
People give it flak recently. Like, oh no, the big bad unity is gonna attack us with its animation over function style of gameplay. 😅😅 Jkjk. I can see why people enjoy that, but I prefer having full control over the climbing, even if it does mean it's not got as many fancy animations.
@@PP-hu9wvthis has been my biggest critique, since origins you can climb literally anything without thought or difficulty. In the older games you to actually plot an actually climbable path. It would always make me look at buildings in real life with that lense, like would this be climbable in assassins creed like I could use that brick there, that outcrop there, but now bayek can run up a flat smooth face obelisk like he’s Spider-Man.
Now that I think about it they kinda started that trend in black flag, but even that had far more difficulty and thought required than origins and the games that came after.
Altair and Bayek would bitch-slap Ezio for being so public with murder and even goes out calling his own name to the world. XD But that's exactly why Ezio was iconic. We get to see him grow out his insecurities.
Me running from the guards usually swearing or cussing and then one time for some odd reason in the same way Walter shouts it in fable 3 in the cave i shouts BALLLLLLLLSSSSSSS
Excellent gameplay, you moved like a master assassin. However, this isn’t very lore accurate as this Ezio’s first kill. There is no way he would know of that route, move that smoothly across buildings, or have the level of precision to perform an air assassination.
I love how much hate is in his stabbing, he could have just gave one stab but wanted him to feel pain. This is what modern AC games lack emotional weight.
Ubisoft: "Okay, let's elaborate a big mission, so the player will have to use a few of his brain cells to beat it" -~- This guy: Uses 100% of his brain cells to beat it🍺

“erm it isn’t lore accurate 🤓☝️” bruh f that, if you find a cool way to switch up your gamestyle in a game you’ve played 1000 times, go for it, it’s cool. personally I try to take advantage of missions I remember when I can.
Siempre que jugaba a Assassin's Creed 2 voy por el mismo recorrido que hizo este tío, pero nunca se me había ocurrido embestir contra Uberto desde el tejado XD
Wait, it is assumed that at that moment Leonardo had not yet deciphered the codex that teaches the different methods of murder. Including murder from piles of straw, from ledges and of course aerial How did you do that?
You mean I could have saved time by not painstakingly blending in with crowds!? Not a veteran but should've known that roofs are easier to maneuver without alerting anyone.
See if I Ubisoft just gave us another protagonists story from start to end in more then just one game so we could find another character as great as Ezio because we actually had TIME to watch this characters development in more then just one game we wouldn’t have such shit AC games now
This doesnt connect with the story. Ezio hadnt learned air assassination technique yet and up close and personal feels much better. Making him feel completely helpless as he made Ezio feel.
And where is the veteran? You literally missed the dialogue. Is this what series veterans do? Hmmm. Shame on you man. A shame. It's a pity, I thought I'd subscribe to you now...
As a veteran player, I listen to his dialogue with the NPCs first because it adds more to Ezio's anger.
to me its kinda awkward because i dont know when the scripted dialogue ends and i dont want to wait a minute in silence thinking its still going
I do the same thing every time.
