Aweomse review, thank you! Looking for some new shinguards. I can't budget for both MMA and Muay Thai shinguards so I'm looking for a fit pair. Those did look a bit bulky, but good protection for Muay Thai. Great review Fairtex is top notch man. Have you ever fought before?

Hi Daniel, these are great shinguards but they are bulky if going to the ground, if you can only run to one pair, these are probably too stand-up focused.
I'm 60 years old so I've not fought for a while but did fight in my younger days. I started with schoolboy boxing and later fought on the freestyle circuits and competed at Muay Thai. I was getting a bit old by the time MMA got popular in the UK but got involved with BJJ and wrestling which is very useful. All the best, and thanks for the comment.

Great review, thanks! How tall are you? I am 176 cm and I have dilemma between choosing M or L size.

Hi sorry for the late reply. I'm 185cm, the large are perfect for me. I think there is 1 cm difference between each sizing, my gut reaction would be go medium but it is worth checking with the supplier in case there is anything I have missed. All the best.

Do they spin when landing kicks or are the secure?

They are pretty good, no issues with spinning. Like most substantial shin pads, if you catch the edge of the pad it might move a little but overall they are very secure.
