Parvaneh, a young Afghan immigrant, lives in a transit center for asylum in the Swiss mountains. Upon hearing of her father’s illness, she travels for the first time to Zurich in order to send her family money. This is the starting point of various encounters.

I am a teacher at Foothill High School in Sacramento and I teach ELD (English Language Development) to students who have just arrived from Afghanistan. I must show this film to them because it speaks directly to the heart. Such a beautiful message of love in an otherwise graceless age. Almost makes me forget Ukraine, the pandemic, and January 6th. Almost.

Very Nice Short. I wonder if giving it the title of "Clash of Cultures' was deliberately done to set up a set of expectations. One of the title possibilities could have been 'Convergence of Cultures' or the more obvious 'Commonalities of Cultures'......as it was the intention of the film. :-)
