Thanks for talking about the undeserved hate Genshin gets. I think content creators also play a role in the amount of hate Genshin gets. They see their favorite CC hate on the game and jump on the bandwagon. People that really complain about a free mobile game of this quality need to go touch grass.
Yeah, some of them just pure hate, they don't even playing the game. Well, they need to sell Genshin's name, can't afford to lose those easy views.

The western Genshin content meta literally revolves around drama. As sad as it is true, people who talk about Genshin in the west are either haters, drama farmers, WuWa players, or a mix of 2 or all 3. People who do love Genshin would rather mind their own business, which I think is better for them anyways.
Haters gonna hate as they say. Genshin is one or the best forgiving gacha in all gacha games I heard to my friends FGO gacha is really really bad. The thing about Genshin you didn’t even have to spend money to be fun is actually the opposite. Is just people who fall into Fumo and then blame Genshin not themselves for getting baited on it. I spent like 4K into the game but I don’t blame Genshin for it I blame my lack of self control. Facing my consequences of my action. Now I think twice before buying anything not acting upon impulses not just in game but even everyday lives
sumeru music has always been my favorite since im so familiar with it (I'm from India) but natlan music might just top it for me, specially because now the music has vocals with lyrics which only furinas and yun jins songs had upuntil now (for ingame music)
Hoyo does cultural representation justice unlike other developers who just add token characters to tick the diversity box.

@@tsmblindzo3033 I mean, they did research in terms of clothing, and architecture, incorporating folk stories into lore, and the music is mostly accurate to their cultural inspiration. They lack only a darker skin color for the playable character (NPC has a darker color).
So when you compile all of that, yes Hoyo only misses the playable character part, so they still do better than other games that add only dark-skinned characters but nothing else.
In all honesty, only part you can criticize is the skin tone if you consider that a problem... Anything else is all good. There might be discrepancy or inaccuracy in some part but I think it is okay...? Well, they are making a fantasy world, not rewriting an established facts.

@@PositiviteaTheFirst you only have to ever catch up with Genshin, but never keeping up... It's the least gacha in gacha games imo, none of the dailies weeklies really matters only quests and story.

The characters they presented are so beautiful I don't understand why all the controversy arose with the skin tones if the people of Latin America loved them all

@@emkaeyaglia I know, I know that they were inspired by those regions for the characters and the area but it seems unfair to me that they call all the characters an insult for incorrect "representation" or at least not mentioning Chasca, Citlali and Kinich in the controversy they are in more related to Latin America and they are fascinated and let people who belong to other inspired regions give their opinion about their characters
Idk I just want more dark skinned characters. Why is Iansan the only playable character from Natlan that's that dark? We know we're not getting any dark characters in Snezhnaya so this was the time
@@racool911 becouse dark skinned characters does not sell well china sadly, i do understand your view on this but most asian countries generally prefer light skin which is genshin target audience just like my father said "Why would you sell something that most of your customers don't want". And majority of Genshin's revenue is from china
@@Abyzotha I think they severely underestimate their Chinese audience then. Barely anyone is gonna not pull on a character they love just cause their skin is dark. And if they do make great characters that are dark skinned, it only helps promote the beauty of other skin colors to the audience. Something they should be doing as the devs love promoting other cultures

Yeah Natlan, appropriately, is Ring of Fire themed. Though at the same time since there's only 7 nations, it seems they decided to include some more African heritage and culture too. Because if they didn't do it now, they would have never been able to since the only thing next is Snezhnaya, which is largely Russia but I'm sure will include a couple other areas too. They started to try and push more in together starting in Sumeru.
I hope they include some Belarusian and Ukrainian culture in Snezhnaya too
Genshin really outdid themselves with Natlan representation. Such vibrant display of culture, woven so many strands of vibes from music and visual of many different regions. Cant wait to dive into this beautiful region.

I love Sumeru ( I half-arab) but Natlan seems to musicial masterpiece aswell. cant wait!
As both a FF14 player and a Genshin player, these changes are a welcome sight for me in Genshin. Oddly I'm waaaay more hyped for this version patch in Genshin than I was for YawnFail expan, which I still haven't completed.
I can’t wait to get to Dawntrail because I already think the rest of the expansions stories are mid af so I can just look forward to the great content and expect the story to be mid as usual.

not only that they need to let go, even lore-wise it would be impossible. bcs signora is a mondstadt-ian and the dev explicitly said only in Natlan, assuming ONLY Natlanian, can be resurrected. she's dead, dead.

It's just the standard characters that are free so you cant get Lyney. Tighnari's pretty good too so u can go for him

@@Matthew6418Dehya has the craziest difference in power between C0 and C6. Even just C1 improves her damage by a massive 37% and C2 makes her supporting role better by improving her E duration. C4 lowers her energy requirement, making it possible to use Vourukasha instead of Emblem, which makes her ceiling higher, and C6 makes her damage on par with like C1 Hu Tao, which is insane considering she starts as one of the worse 5* dps in the game.
This to say that at C0 she's unfortunately not very good. She works fine as a defensive support in some teams, but as a dps she's very underwhelming without constellations.
only get tighnari if you have his bow, if not i would probably pick dehya
@@dubstepforever99Nah, that's not true, Tighnari is such an underrated character and he's perfectly useable without his weapon.
I've been running him with the old battle pass bow and wanderers troupe ever since I got him on release back in 3.0 and he's been great!
He's genuinely insane now that I have him at C6 since I've been luckily unlucky and kept getting him on my 50/50 losses and the final constellation was because of the free 5 star selector.

Lol I love that they make you believe that they listened to your feedback. This was planned 100 percent planned since basically the start of the game. Natlan is going to introduce massive powercreep to the game, so they need to give some incentive to keep playing. That's what this is :)
the only powercreep so far has been in artifacts. the characters themselves arent anything special compared to what we already have. arti powercreep is good cuz it gives people a reason to farm stuff and it can make less units way more viable
i hope so,if the pyro archon doesnt powercreep xiangling and bennet, I will fuckin lose it
You are aware that the artifacts only work for Natlan characters right? So that is the same as powercreep in the region. I am not opposed to it I am just explaining that a company like Hoyoverse do not do random changes like this based on a whim. This is calculated they know that they are increasing the sealing and that some players are going to be rubbed the wrong way by it. Therefore they give players a lot of presents entering Natlan as well as returning players coming back to check out the new region.
@@alexanderericson8628 that's where you're wrong, the requirement is not to be from natlan, is to get the new effect, and by that logic a character like the pyro archon could grant that effect to the allies, just like Furina did to HP mechanics
@@EngelAguilar Fontaine did not have anything in artifacts that excludes other characters. No I am not wrong, they work like this, they are mostly exclusive to Natlan characters, that is the set bonus on the artifact.
