Always a pleasure! This turned out really seriously amazing, by the way! I never would've thought their theme would sound so amazingly good in PC-98's music style!
Nah it's an external edit. (hue shifts if your curious) I actually asked about natively changing colors and for FMDSP (and 98player probably) you'd have to do some black magic assembly hexcode editing MDSP iirc supports natively changing the color palette but it's a pain in the ass
They look surprisingly good in pc-98 artstyle.
PTSD retro version
Yay, it's Mai and Yuki-- huh, I mean, Mai and Satono!
ya know I actually thought about putting Mai and Yuki in the thumbnail as a joke lmao
@@asi14 That would have been so perfectly confusing x)
Holy shit.
Imagine having to beat Mai and Satono the same way you have to beat Mai and Yuki in Mystic Square. hell kek
Imagine if Mai and Yuki RETURNED in Touhou 16...💀💀💀💀💀
I'm pretty sure this stage referenced touhou 5.

Your art really went off here.
It looks amazing
I love this!! The creepy descending sound sold me immediately; feels so right for their uncanny vibe~ You do such an amazing job with these remixes!
Honestly these chiptune d-makes of Windows era Touhou music are quite charming.
I was literally just whistling this a few seconds ago before seeing this in my recommended, what?!
The fate of whistling a song
When you open backdoor to the probability space-time hypervessel.
No way.
I agree this one does work very well as a demake, great work!
this is an absolute banger when listening to this in the PC-98 format. I'm kinda impressed!
Satono being cuter than ever
Woah,woah,woah!!!!
Slow down here!!!!
I thought it was Mai and Yuki too, but i didn't know that it was Satono and Mai!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Creepy Backdoor Dancers
Boppin
two mai's
awesome remix! so energetic.
love it!
are you able to change the color palette on that player? or it's an edit on the video?
Nah it's an external edit. (hue shifts if your curious) I actually asked about natively changing colors and for FMDSP (and 98player probably) you'd have to do some black magic assembly hexcode editing
MDSP iirc supports natively changing the color palette but it's a pain in the ass
ah I see..
though for 98fmplayer, the source code is public and I probably could try to modify it so I am able to change the palette as I wish
@@asi14 You should do hue shifts that match the PC98 palette ZUN was using haha
@@JonathanKanelis that thought did occur to me, but I don't have hue shift controls that are precise enough to make that happen
i wonder what they'd look like in bullet hell pc 98 style?
Im sure Mai and Satono will beat the other stage 5 bosses popularity! i just know it!
Crazy backup dancers? More like uhhhhhh
Poggers
