- This is it! My 33 years old Honda and I are on the homestretch of our biggest Motorcycle Adventure yet. Berlin to Nordkapp (North Cape) and back. Crossing many borders to many different Countries like Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and back to Germany. It has been quite a ride. Almost 10.000km on and off road through rain, snow and sun. Flat tire, tow truck and a couple of repair shops as well as many lovely people I met on the road, helping out or just chatting. It has been a great experience and sharing this great journey in real time here on UA-cam has made it even better. Thanks everybody for watching and accompanying me. Now back to work, pay of the huge credit card bill and back to traveling in no time! I promise I will also sort out the rattle noise;)
Thanks everybody!

For this Video and for all the videos i do at home, not being out with the bike i use Final Cut since for me it was the easiest to use program with a very intuitive Interface and cool colorgrading options.

I just can't believe how there can be haters to a travel vlog like this. What's wrong with people?
I really love to watch you travel and inpire people to do the same. So people go for a trip, long or short, with bike or car. It doesnt matter as long as they enjoy life.
Keep up the good work and let us be a part of your traveling.
I really hope you get a great hug when coming home. And a good meal and a nice comfy bed. All my best wishes.
Exactly what Jörgen said, I am not sure what to hate about Marc his awesome motorcycle journeys
Envious trolls are everywhere 🙄
well, some people doesn't ready with the internet mentally.. lol
There are two types. The miserable people who try to bring others to their level. And the ones who cry for attention like a toddler.
Marc, looking at the comments here, I see appreciation, encouragement, and gratitude.
Trolls are the sad part of humanity, that live in our digital world. They will always be here, but do what most of us do….ignore them.
Remember, trolls like no one and no one likes trolls.
I believe I can speak for most here when I say, that all the efforts, to include us in your travels, is very much appreciated.
Oh, and Happy Birthday!
Thanks!
You are simly the best!! Sold my motorcykle 4 years ago 62 now looking for a new because of you THANKS!
Just love your channel Marc. If you have to turn off comments - turn them off.
It won't detract from the real viewers, the simplicity and actual beauty of what you do.
Really admire you for what you do.
Keep on Riding and, above all, stay safe.
Thanks! Looking forward to the next adventure.
Marc, happy birthday! I hope you have a great day!
As someone who also likes to ride long distances on my motorcycle, many people don’t understand what it’s like. You do what you do for yourself. As long as you are enjoying yourself, that’s all that matters.
Thanks for your videos, they are very inspirational. I ride in North America and it’s really interesting to watch your rides through Europe. One day I hope to ride through Europe as well.
Thanks for all the great videos!
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag!
Thanks for taking us with you on that journey. It was pleasure to watch. Do not think about trolls, that is all they want. Cheers
As an old co-worker used to say “don’t let the b*st*rds get you down”. Words to live by. I love your content and you were part of my inspiration to ride 13000 kms round trip this summer on my F850GS at age 63. It wasn’t a total success as I wrote off my bike in Canada’s arctic, but it’s a trip I’ll never forget. Thanks and stay safe.
Marc I respect You man because not everyone go long trip with 33 years old motorbike. Second You not make that all with sponsors but viewrs suport and free will. Great.
Awesome vlog! Awesome bike! I had the same kind of noise on all my Hondas. From 1978 - 1989, CB125, CB250 Dream, CB 250 Superdream, CX 500E. Chain tensioner either well worn and/or collecting lots of thick, sticky gunge which prevented it moving with the timing chain - which also could get a tight spot. All those bikes did over 50,00k before I sold them. Shame I never owned a Dominator. Thanks for sharing! :-)
you king :) welcome home and good luck
Just keep on riding, Marc! Pay no attention to them. It only means they have issues, not you. We on the other hand just enjoy watching your journeys. Keep safe! Love your bike by the way.
I feel sorry for you about the negative comments.
I work exactly the same: 1) Negative input stays longer and 2) if my bike makes a noise I obsess about it until I fix it.
1) makes you human. 2) makes you the kind of biker who has the persistence to weed out the flaws of an old bike and that is the best kind of biker.
So proud of you Marc! You have accomplished something people could only dream of, and kindly chosen to share it with the world along the way. You have inspired me and many others to pursue our dream, whether it is to start riding a motorcycle or going on an adventure to some place most of us haven't heard of. So I just wanted to say thank you. Enjoy your well deserved break and last but not least, happy birthday! :)
Happy Birthday, i really like the dominator, i have had an xl650 and xr400 great bikes. I’m 67 and enjoy your videos.
Don't worry about negative comments Marc. Your a young guy having fun and the is nothing wrong with that. Live your life to the best you can fella.
The time you upload the videos it’s really amazing I can click so quick , and happy birthday to you
Hi Marc, I have enjoyed watching this trip enormously, thanks again stay safe. I look forward to your next adventure
I ride a new Africa Twin, I ride the "route des grandes alpes" this year… Next year a crossing of the Pyrenees and then …. Iceland and North Cape! You inspire me man … let’s do this !
Marc your the man 100% . Stay true to your goals .
Amazing adventure Marc. Well documented, well said and inspired. Looking forward to the next one. Thank you.
I like you talking about your motorcycle. I understand you. Its your transport in another country and its in your head all the time. The noise!
Hi Mark!
I found your channel a couple weeks ago. Honestly have seen the journeys in your playlist. Almost all of them: Scandinavia, Pyrenees, Balkans, Alps... The list goes on. All the parts like one big movie created by one German easy rider. Of course, there are many other travelers who film and upload their videos on UA-cam. They are good in their own way. Your videos take with simplicity and plainness. They are soulful. There is something in them. Also I very liked when you refused the offer of Insta team riding back home.
Well... Thanks for a good and inspiring content, man. You made my dreams true. A while ago I rode my Honda Transalp 650 and dreamt about long travels. Some of them I realized. But now... All is gone.
Greetings from warring Ukraine.
👍
❤️
Hey , I am 65 and will always watch your channel !
and remember what Taylor Swift sang : Haters will hate ! ignore them please.
Welcome back home and please make more videos.
Fabulous trip. Don't let them get to you. They are not worth your time or the space in your head. Stay positive and enjoy your life & travels. Hope the bike stays well. I regret selling mine when I moved to Spain in '89. Back now in UK & bikeless 🙁
My wife and I enjoy watching your travels.
Never mind the naysayers.
Thanks for the vids! I think i watched them all.
War eine tolle Reise und die guten Menschen hier auf deinem Kanal hatten viel Spass danke.Bleib wie du bist und hab Spass am Reisen....
My wife and I really enjoy your videos. We are watching them almost daily, and catching up on earlier videos we missed in the past. You should be proud of your travels. I wish had the ability to do the same, I was a long distant rider when I was younger, I'm now 69. But I can still ride with your in your videos. Your videos give me incentive to get out and ride on my 2014 Tiger 800. Ride safe, my friend.
Happy to hear you guys enjoy the videos so much 🤗
Marc, not sure what I can say about the people who are jealous of you and that you've got a great life and people that care about you. It's easy for me or others out here to just say to ignore them, but I'm sure it's not that easy. From a selfish standpoint, I'd like it if you kept the comments, but you do what's right for you. In the end, you're all that matters, we're just along for the ride. Cheers, and have a great time with Maree and looking forward to your next adventure.
Hey bro. Don't pay attention on wrong comments. Just leave them where they are. I love you, and look how much other people loves you. Keep on what are you doing it is amazing and inspires so many people. Glad you made it home safe from another trip. It was awesome to watch, and i look forward to your next trip. Chears bro. Sending love from Belgrade, Serbia
Thank you for taking us along on your journey. Enjoy your birthday. Hopefully you will be back on the road soon.
Thank you for taking us along with you Marc, I have enjoyed every post you have put up. Looking forward to your next journey, from "Down under" in Australia.
My first Bike was an Honda Dominator from 1996. I‘ve sold it to buy a Yamaha FZR1000. Now i know it was a failure when i see your trips on your channel. But i don‘t have your big balls to do this and i‘ve so many respect of you or Itchy Boots!!! Thank You for all the Videos!!!
You need to go on the next trip super fast 😉 we can't stay without your vlogs. They are great 😊 Ignore the haters, be yourself like you always are on the videos. Some people cannot see others succeed or enjoy life. You will find these people everywhere as you must well know. You've got a great unique bike and you have the opportunity to enjoy travelling and sharing ....plus people love you. The percentage is high . We started following you when you had few subscriptions and you have evolved.. simple...that's your answer...☺️💪
Thanks
Happy birthday 🎉 Enjoy your well deserved rest, and see you on the next travel
Great video. Thanks for taking us along. I like the way you do things I will still be here .sometimes I don't know what to say in the comments thanks again cheers to ya.
Welcome home, sir!
Got to love old bikes and you've proved that with a little help from our friends, anything is possible, and I'm sure you'll get the rattle sorted out soon enough :)
Wishing you a very happy birthday when the day comes.
With love and respect from the UK \m/
Hi Marc welcome back home, thanks for this adventure. Enjoy your time and your family. I hope to see you soon
It has been a pleasure following you, many thanks from holland
Welcome home and happy birthday. Get a Dominator manual and break it down to peaces yourself. You will learn a lot, and if you let us join in, we will as well. Great inspiration to go on a bike trip, even if I'm getting too old for it.
Aw man, that rattle is getting you down! U have to sort it! Picking up my ‘94 Dommie in couple days, can’t wait. Hope it won’t rattle like yours. Love your videos, stay safe….🤘
To solve the problem of rattling noise, try tapping around the engine, with the engine off.
Start with the exhaust pipe and anything that is attached to the engine, like the gear changing lever, the rear brake lever, and so on. Even the air intake housing.
Good luck.
To Greece of course. Σε περιμένω Μαρκ. 😎👍😉
Try not to take comments personally, criticism is one way to better one, without it, ego might creep in and one would be deceived into feeling invincible: fatal to self and personality. keep up the good work man, you inspire millions and me, and you provoke some :) joining you , ,hopefully December, on a trip in Africa, Egypt to South Africa for starters. You rock buddy
Happy birthday. It have been fun follow your trip in Norway. Dont listen to the trolls with negative coments. Happy and safe driving. Regards from Norway. 🌞🏍👍

Merci pour tes superbes vidéos,on voyage avec toi, hâte de suivre les prochaines
Hi Marc, I don’t even remember how I came across your channel but started watching about 4/5 videos a night from your Portugal trip (I’m Portuguese 😂) and slowly catching up to your newer videos. Have really enjoyed going along these trips with you and seeing the amazing places you’ve travelled to, keep up with the safe travels. Also, don’t worry if you have to turn off comments, for all the great people here, there are also a lot of people that have nothing better going on in their lives that they have to try to bring other people down to their level too… Anyway, safe travels!!
It's your life and yours only, so live it the way you want. Although you are a millennial and I'm just an old and gray biker on a totally different type of bike, I love your channel so please keep making this awsome video's .... and if we ever meet somewhere down the road I would love to buy you a coffee and have a chat. Take care and keep the rubber down.
You are developing an attitude! Love it. Thanks for all you do.

Hi Marc the last few weeks I have been waiting everyday for your updates. Your videos are fantastic, your humor and style is the best I’ve seen on UA-cam, you are an honest and great guy. Just like 99% of the viewers who love your travels. Forget about the haters. Your my favorite channel!!!
Hi Marc, it was nice to follow your travels to the Nordkapp. Thanks for sharing. I like old Honda's too, I recently bought myself a '88 Honda Transalp and I plan to make a long trip on it next year. Wish you all the best, ride safe. Grüßen aus die Niederlände

Keep riding, recording and sharing! 👍
Happy birthday Marc! Good that ride went smoothly, and that you are home now. Till the next adventure.
Danke Peter 🤗
08:53 Very good .. chain oiling ,cleaning and cheking on long trips is good by every 2000-2500 km (1250 -1550 miles ) .

I even got two of my friends who are motorcycle mechanics to listen to your noise and both said, cam chain tensioner. I look forward to your next adventure. John from USA, Alabama. Oh Yes Wishing You A Happy Birthday

Hey Marc! I1m following you and viewing you vids since your winter travel to Portugal and I love your content. Pay no attention to haters. They are everywhere but try to ignore them. We like to see what you do, so let's do this :)
Welcome back home and happy birthday! Never give up! Ciao Marc.
Edoardo
Mint! Love your videos. The big Lebowski, what a cool film👍
Try to ignore the haters Marc, their lives are so empty that they feel the need to project onto others. Keep doing what you’re doing. I love the channel as do at least 40,000 other people. That’s almost twice as many people as can fir in the Union Berlin Stadium!
I have the same engine on my motorcycle and had a similar rattle after the bike was warmed up and ridden awhile. The problem ended up being that the timing chain was the correct length when cold but when it warmed up it would rattle intermittently. If you replace the timing chain it is a good idea to also replace the tensioner, slider and both sprockets. My bike had 20,000 miles on it when I had to do this work. Also remember that you can only check the valve clearance on this engine after the engine has cooled for 24 hours. If you check them while the engine is even slightly warm it will not be correct. Good luck!!!
Fantastico!!! Ti ho seguito dall' Italia, ti aspettiamo anche qui in Italia!! Let's do this!!
Marc u do your thing. Its great to see a young person out enjoying all life has to show you. Hope see u on road again soon
Congratulations Marc!
Another great trip on your saddle 👍🏻
Don't even read all the comments, specially the hatter's.
There's many of us who understands your ways and love to see your videos.
Keep it up and... Let's do this! 💪
Happy Birthday to you all the way from Borneo. Your motorcycle has outlived its live after been running for 33 years! Don't worry too much about that cracking sound. Ride safe mate.
Marc ,you are an inspiration to us all , well done buddy ,looking forward to your next adventure, HAPPY BIRTHDAY 👍👍
Travel videos feturing bikes are about my favourite.
Another good one Marc, personally I think your channel is excellent and really entertaining, hope you had a great birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂🎁🎉👏 You are a great guy and a very genuine person, don’t ever loose it, that’s one of the reasons i like to watch your channel. Just forget about the bad comments, don’t waste your energy with it, it’s not worth it. One of my best motorcycle rides só far was the United Kingdom. I started in Plymouth all the way up to John O’Groats and finishing in the south at Land’s End. The Highlands are a dream!!!!This is my suggestion to you. I will be waiting for your next adventure, no matter where. I wish you all the best my friend, see you soon. Tschüss 👍
hey Marc, I am also a motorcycle traveller like you, since I was a teen ager (which is long ago). This year I made a tour to Spain, 3000 km, and a tour in US, 5000 miles. Inspired by your winter trip to Portugal, I thought for a split second of making a channel of my own. However, I thought and thought ... about the exposure, the haters, those who know all and want to teach their infinte experience, and maybe they are sitting in their chair watching TV. So eventually "I did my own thing" - just like you basically, riding on my own, but with no drone. I may write a book - as I did a few years ago based on a US trip form the MidWest to California.
Take care - and keep going the same way you re going now.
