- It's time for Christmas Decorating!!! I'm sharing so many Kitchen Holiday Decorating Ideas while styling my Traditional Christmas Decor in this first Christmas Decorate With Me of 2023! I wanted to create a statement Christmas Garland to frame my dining room doorway and I'm loving how that turned out! I also decided to use lots of Santa Decor and deep tones of red & green to envelope my Kitchen in a Nostalgic Christmas Magic!

It’s finally time to start decorating for Christmas!! Have you started yet?? 🎄🎅🏼
Black Friday is a time for deals and getting ready for Christmas. The turkey isn't even been set yet and you guys are already going to Christmas. It's unreal. Let the turkey have its day and then go to Christmas. The 80s and 90s were like that now it's like who cares about Thanksgiving when it's to give thanks to being here with family. Doing family activities and Football on Thanksgiving besides setting up the big feast. But the first weekend of December my family would set up for Christmas as I would set up my tree and lights. I'm only 41 and I live alone. It's sad.
Add a Christmas cactus plant or a poinsettia to your countertop! I love your garlands and that St. Nick pic is beautiful!! 🎁🎄🎁
@c.johnweir182 I understand what you just said. But I think another of people enjoy Christmas decor so much...but from Thanksgiving to christmas...it's only 4 weeks..they want more Xmas decor time. I understand that, but the older you get, the more time it takes to decorate. I don't live alone, just my hubby & me. Most of family is too far away. So, this is the first year no one will be here for any h oliday. Guess that's what happens when you get old. We are 74 & 75. Kind of sad.😞

If she waits, by the time people see the video, it's likely a lot of the stuff she used will be sold out.
Remember this is her full time job, which she supports her family with.
Also, some people just really like Christmas and can't wait to get started on the season.
Some people, (not saying that's the case with Megan) don't celebrate Thanksgiving due to the negative connotations the day has.

In years past in my home I've actually used just simple red bows on the middles of my doors. I have the same 6 panel doors in my home but on the middle larger portion you could put red bowtie in the red. Or gold. Would give the sophisticated Christmas vibes!

Looks lovely. Just a hot air balloon suggestion which you can shoot down of course. Put larger red bows on your sconces… wider velvet ribbon that is wired would be gorgeous and make a bigger impact of red colour. Well done with what you have done 👏👏👏

Also. my suggestion for the folding door would be to make some swags with a few flat picks
like the kind you would put underneath plate, then tie your red bows on each one. Also, maybe another red bow around the cutting board in the corner where you put the Santa.

Love, love, love the dining room…the garland is gorgeous and Santa looks like he’s right inside your home….I would try and find a oblong piece of metal vine or decor, hovering over the top of the doors…on, so hard for me to explain…not filled in like but more of like lattice..I have them in my apartment but don’t know how to take a picture of it and forward it to you…maybe something that looks like the top of an arbor only in metal….hope this helps…God bless💗💗💗

I love the garland around the doorframe and the Santa pic and your kitchen! It’s all so good! I think your idea of adding the red berries to the garland would give it the perfect touch of red. Please don’t kill me for saying this but if you add the berries in the garland, I would take the red ribbon off the sconces. They are so beautiful and can totally stand alone
