does spray detailer add some kind of protection? i want to use this product as a clay lube, but i dont want any protection left behind since the paint will be corrected afterwards.
Is the spray detailer dilutable? I just bought a gallon and used it straight because there is no diluting instructions and its impossible to work with, just smears everywhere and is very hard to get off after.

From what I've read, it does not leave protection.

Is it really hot or really cold? are you in direct sun? It is not dilutable.
