역사상 가장 위대한거장파바로티 그에맞게 에르메스스카프가 참 잘어울리는 남자입니다 눈이참예쁘고 마음이따뜻한 보통사람들과는 다른 한단계위에있는 위대한인물입니다.

Continuation of my previous comment,in the 30s some films were made of tenors like Titp Schipa,Richard Tauber, and others, these were not seen or published as they are to day,no Television

Luciano's "Nessun Dorma" was the definitive interpretation of this classic aria until Jackie Evancho came along.

Sorry to not agree ,listen to interview with Pavarotti Mario Lanza is the tenor who has had the greatest influence on the general public since his movies were seen internationally, they were a sort of fairytale of the life or Caruso and this influenced the public to buy the records at this time,

@Marie Whitbread I agree. Mario Lanza was a very good singer and great at what he did, but he was not an operatic tenor. People became familiar with the tenor voice when listening to Mario Lanza, but Luciano brought true opera to everyone and made it popular around the world.

@@gnosticmom2805 He was not an opera singer as such, but Lanza had an operatic tenor voice, but not one complete recording, he sang many concerts live, only of course one complete opera in a major opera house, Butterfly in 1948 at age 27, New Orleans but also a light opera Merry Wives of Windsor, Fenton in the Berkshires early, no not really an opera singer by profession, your right, and yet in films and radio show bright many of us into loving opera but opera singing live takes more then a beautiful voice and ability, if ML lived longer then age 38, IF he had a different life style, then perhaps he would have gone opera after films--IF!

I Get angry that even Italian Interviewer's Miss Pronounce his Name.. PHONETICALLY IT IS PAV-O- ROW-TI NOT Rotty.

Thanks for the correction. I have been making this error myself. Need to get the International Phonetic Alphabet out and learn how to pronounce sounds in Italian.
