fav authors are karen mcmanus, suzanne young, jenny han, and becky albertalli! obviously there are tons of other amazing authors. but if anyone is looking for new authors, these are some that i’ve found to really enjoy :)))
caiti, the summer i turned pretty series by jenny han is the perfect summer read the leads you into a very suspenseful love triangle and it all take place on the beach! Hope you like it!

CAITI!! we have almost the exact same book taste. I’ve read verity daisy jones and i’m currently reading heart bones. coho is my idol i live for her books. idk if you’ve already read it but “without merit” by coho is INCREDIBLE. i loved it it’s a new fav for me. the mc’s are teenagers which ik you said you liked about heart bones and it was very deep. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. also one of my fav books ever is archers voice by mia sheridan. it’s deep, romantic and the mc’s are THE SWEETEST. you will probably love it

You NEED to check out this trilogy, it starts off with Angel Burn by L.A Weatherly. Basically they live in a world where the people worship the angels, but the angels only use the people for their energy and are slowly draining them of life and killing them. So there are a few angel killers in the world to protect the human race. One of the angel killers tracks down a half angel who is the only one in the world and they slowly start to fall in love and have to try and save the world together without getting caught by the angels. There’s so many crazy twists and turns, I still think ab them to this day. The books are also HUGE which I love bc then they last longer
