I've had the chance to hear twice this from the composer himself in my home city, Istanbul; Mrs Buschmann has the same inspiration and the talent as C. Domeniconi by the way she plays it. Congrats really.. very impressive..:)
No doubt a great player ... but the interpretation is too rushed for my taste, it's lacking the breath and the vastness that is conveyed by the composer. Please listen e.g. to Antogoni Goni ...
Institoris Institoris I regularly listen to that recording, however, that's his interpretation (which I actually prefer - it is significantly more emotive). This is the speed at which it was written though, can confirm, I own the sheet music.
+Sanelora1 Well the people from the academy told me that Wiliams always plays "by the book" , I'm not musicaly educated so I cannot compare it with the sheet. Anyhow, I'm glad that you also prefer his interpretation. Lovely song
It sounds too rushed to me. We try and "get through" this piece when you should be enjoying every note, pouring the notes out with love and admiration? I respect people can interpret any piece of music how they feel and see fit, but this is not for me, this is not how it should sound.
