I wasn’t thick skinned enough to take the different levels of criticism and negativity I received from some lowlifes. I did begin to notice the same accounts coming up abusing time and time again, they are sadly everywhere and must be in pretty dark places themselves to spend their one life trying to upset people in this way, majority of the time it’s jealousy. We stand united and strong against this behaviour.

I don't have X or anything, just UA-cam and I don't really know what's going on, but I hear where you're coming from. One of the reasons I started supporting Arsenal was because I felt that the Arsenal fan base was, or maybe still is, one of the classiest. I don't know if this is still true, but it can definitely be observed that the language used by fans is increasingly negative, unfriendly, impatient and entitled. Or maybe it's this group of people who make the most noise and that's why it feels that way. That's why we need more people like you to make these voices heard too.

Twitter has become so much worse since Elon got his hands on it. I reported a tweet this week of someone comparing a picture of a Saka and a Monkey with the cation "whats the difference". Twitters review found it didn't violate their terms of service.
Criticise a player for his/her performance but attacking their families and loved ones is an absolute disgrace. Rice's success in football not only comes down to hard work but also the balance and support he has in his life. As the adage suggests, "Behind every great man, is a great woman"
As always you handle situations like this with dignity, class and respect. I’ve not seen the original post and frankly have no interest in seeing it. People that troll are unhappy people with no life to be proud off. They are miserable and lonely and will remain that way forever. Declan and his wife however, they are happy people, have the most amazing loving relationship. I find that a small comfort to take from situations like this.
Didn't even realise this wasn't the first time trolls were mocking his girlfriend. There's nothing wrong with his girlfriend btw (not that you should mock or abuse her regardless). Declan Rice staying with his childhood sweetheart says a lot about his character and how grounded he is. They seem like a lovely couple.

Long time listener, first time posting. Social media in all of its forms is largely a cesspool. I have seen its negative impacts on my daughter despite her thick skin and many others. Declan and other public figures are going to receive hate, it's part of the job sadly. It's not right but there is absolutely no excuse for attacking his partner. I prefer to not give any further voice to those that make these kind of comments but understand and appreciate your comments. Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.

Twitter has become so much worse since Elon got his hands on it. I reported a tweet this week of someone comparing a picture of a Saka and a Monkey with the cation "whats the difference". Twitters review found it didn't violate their terms of service.

As always you handle situations like this with dignity, class and respect. I’ve not seen the original post and frankly have no interest in seeing it. People that troll are unhappy people with no life to be proud off. They are miserable and lonely and will remain that way forever. Declan and his wife however, they are happy people, have the most amazing loving relationship. I find that a small comfort to take from situations like this.
Didn't even realise this wasn't the first time trolls were mocking his girlfriend. There's nothing wrong with his girlfriend btw (not that you should mock or abuse her regardless). Declan Rice staying with his childhood sweetheart says a lot about his character and how grounded he is. They seem like a lovely couple.
I have no idea what was said as I don’t have twitter/X I can imagine I do think a lot of these are probably sent by opposing supporters to get a reaction and money. Well done Tom for calling it out though social media companies need to do far more

These kind of people have no room in our civilised society. I’m an Arsenal FC supporter and fan of our footballing teams. I just don’t understand why people can be so vile towards our own?
Change starts with you and I by not rewarding these trolls by not giving them our viewership.

I missed it...what happened?
Long time listener, first time posting. Social media in all of its forms is largely a cesspool. I have seen its negative impacts on my daughter despite her thick skin and many others. Declan and other public figures are going to receive hate, it's part of the job sadly. It's not right but there is absolutely no excuse for attacking his partner. I prefer to not give any further voice to those that make these kind of comments but understand and appreciate your comments. Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.

Well said Tom. The only way to combat hate is to call it out and bring it to the light. Otherwise it will be popularised and monetised! Hate is popular nowadays and that’s the saddest thing.
