Psst…. They were doing them in the 70s too….I was less an 7 not sure which yr but while playing with the parachute in elementary school I went to pull down and slammed my head onto the concrete…I think it was the bus lanes or something. The things that looked like flipped over tables in the first couple of rooms were actually little beds for naps! Y’all totes could use that as a gym… cheaper!
Hey if You read this comment on this old video I can say you could take those toys and get them fixed up and give them to kids in orphanages so they have some toys to play.
Ahhhh. The good Ole days. Growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. The parachute game, being at the rec center. I miss those days. Thank you so much for this
@@netkitten oh that could be I mean people can be allergic to anything and when it said “no grape juice for karter” he may be allergic but that might not have anything to do with allergies it could be that he was probably behaving badly!
Man! I know everyone is talking about the parachute being nostalgic, but I'm over here about to cry over the abandoned daycare rooms with all the toys, etc. My kids are a junior and senior and I'm seeing some familiar things from when they were little😪
This one is close to my heart. I was an early childhood educator here in Atlantic Canada, took the college course between 2009 to 2011 and worked in it for one year, and burned out. Curriculum planning got the better of me. My favourite age to work with was infants. I'm in phone tech support for an American insurance company and couldn't have kids of my own. This one doesn't look much different than ours.
We played games with that type of parachute in gym class when I was in elementary school in the late 1980s and early 1990s. I preferred that sort of gym activity over organized team sports type of activities. I’ve always been healthy, active, and fit, but I never liked playing in organized team sports. I also hated the dreaded Presidential Fitness Test. The best part of being an adult is not being forcibly subjected to things like team sports or fitness tests. This building looks like it was an old school that was converted into being a combination of a pre-school and community fitness center for adults and perhaps older children and teens as that fitness center didn’t look geared towards children. It’s a shame that the building caught on fire.
I just have to say I'm so glad I found your channel!! I think it's really cool that you go and explore all these buildings and share it with the world just like exploring with Josh, it would be cool if you two did a Collab
Oh absolutely remember that parachute and gym class in the 90s oh man how I miss those days carefree and innocent I'll be 37 next month and it really brings me back ❤️❤️❤️
To Karter, I'm sorry you never got any grape juice. I am also very sorry for you that your school burnt down. I hope you are living a good life and go out and get some grape juice. 😁

Super post- apocalyptic feel. It reminds of that scene in The Walking Dead where they go to the abandoned daycare to find supplies. That part always felt really unsettling

I’m working on creating a dimension for my book and world that I temporarily named ‘the abandoned spaces dimensions. It’s a dimension of abandoned places of all kinds and it’s where urban explorers from all over the virtual internet/dreamscape world come to explore. Great job and well done. I sometimes have vivid dreams of exploring places like this! By the way, if you get any comments from the people who used to spend their time there, please respond! ;-)
I had no idea abandoned places existed. I assumed they had been destroyed or recreated. There are many homeless individuals who do not have a place to live, yet we have abandoned buildings; why don't they allow homeless people to move in abandoned buildings? I'm not sure why these businesses don't have new owners. Another issue I don't understand is why individuals aren't permitted to steal goods from abandoned locations. Why aren't the goods on the abandoned lot sold in thrift stores? Why doesn't the government maintain records of persons who live in abandoned buildings? There are so many unresolved questions.
Probably government doesn’t want people to live somewhere and not pay taxes. Greedy ass government needs to realize its about the people not stuff their pockets with cash.

i did some research, and the complex closed sometime around 2013-2016. The fire didn't happen until 2021.
Oh okay what’s the name of this daycare complex I want to know who was responsible for the fire?
The Parachute. Really takes me back to my days in Kindergarten.

They say that karter still hasn't got his grape juice 😕
Yeah and since the fire happened along time ago karter could’ve still gotten the grape juice before the incident happened!
this brings me back so many childhood and kindergarten memories 😢
I don't understand how all of that can be just left to decay. it's sad and wasteful
I hope Karter got some grape juice 🧃

It might so dumb but I always wondered why in abandoned places like schools or daycares leave all the stuff left behind sometimes
In this case it's an electrical fire.

If this place hasn't cought fire they would maybe still be open today
And it's like why leave all that shit behind I'm sure kids could use that stuff some where in this world instead it's going to waste sitting there sad
Due to an electrical fire, they probably had no time to grab everything.
It probably wouldn't be safe to give to children after a fire like that. Could be contaminated and damaged.
