      On the topic of proteins here is a really cool idea. What kind of effects would be created if a creature was to incorporate prions into its own biology using them for both protein synthesis, and cellular make up rather than standard proteins.

    I tore my rotator cuff and had major surgery. Surgeon said 12-18 mths to heal and get back ROM and strength to be able to go back to normal life. Forward 4 mths post surgery I stacked BPC157 and TB500 for a month and back in the gym, physio amazed and surgeon checked me and said tendons have completely healed. I had severe GI issues that started when I was a kid. In the last year it got so bad that I lost 20 lbs and had to be on a liquid diet. When I tried getting back on solid foods the things went bad, and I was in so much pain that using the bathroom was a terrifying experience. It turns out I developed a fissure.
    In desperation I tried peptides around Thanksgiving. Within a week injuries that didn’t heal for months started scabbing. I was able to get my life back. A few months later and I’m back to parkour/Oly lifting. I have my life back
    The fact that these aren’t prescribed an inexpensive is a fucking crime

      @@rawbhl if you continue to have GI trouble, and grains are still an issue, I recommend looking into a sensitivity to Amylase Trypsin Inhibitors. It mimics celiac, but is not nearly as destructive. However, while celiac doesn't react to vinegar and rarely reacts to grains other than Wheat/Rye/Barley, ATI sensitivity can be triggered anything derived from cereal grains, and by corn and brown rice (corn sensitivity can resolve by avoiding it for a while- the others can't). There is no blood test for it, just an elimination diet- and you have to be celiac level avoidant of gluten grains.
      It sounds like you're making a very impressive recovery, though, so this is probably just a rambling of a nosey cat face.
      I'll definitely be looking into peptides for myself. so, thanks for your comment. I wouldn't give it a try if I didn't find your anecdote.

    It saved me (bpc-157) from doing something I would never think of doing in other circumstances....suicide. I am a mason, and have experienced extreme and what we (the doctors and myself) was irreversible damage to every component of my hands.... Which is normally pretty annoying, and painful, but I can deal with it. However, a few years back things became a little insane will say.... I could not lay down or stay still for longer than a few minutes at a time without pain and inflammation so bad that for almost three months I slept for no more than an hour at a time and at an hour, it would take an hour of screaming agony to return to my normal state of annoying moderate pain.... lol. That doesn't likely sound much better, but at one point I was sitting my workshop looking at a chainsaw and a shotgun; and trying to decide if I wanted to chop my hands off or swallow a shell. It wasn't just the screaming agony of pain, but the lack of sleep and inability to stop working combined to create a perfect storm of misery. I literally was going nuts from the lack of sleep and the pain.... I tried everything the doctors threw at the issues, the problem seemed to be conflicting due to the many different issues causing certain medications to interact negatively with other issues, etc. And, I love painkillers way too much, and so they are not allowed for me any more, a personal choice; it would have just been slow suicide. Anyways, I told my doctor about bpc157 she had never heard of it, did a little digging and was shocked she never heard of it, nor did she understand why it wouldn't be available to prescribe.... Anyways, she basically said that if I trusted the source, there wasn't anything she could find that would make her see a problem with it. Long story, a little shorter, within a week I had almost entire pain reduction, gained back most of my dexterity and feeling in the following three weeks. And, it lasted about a long while, but I ended up doing another 4 weeks, about a year later, and same effect, its important to note that I did not stop working this entire time. My doctor said that it was either a miracle or the most amazing improvement of such extreme trauma and conditions. As a side note, i was not ingesting this peptide, I was injecting it in my wrists and hands, as its effects are site specific.

      @@DudeWhoSaysDeez against my better judgement, I will answer some of your questions.... Although, I am not a doctor, nor a medical professional, this is ONLY what
      I myself did, and should in no way be considered as advice or suggestive of being anything other than what I PERSONALLY did. With that said. 250mcg in the morning 250mcg before bed, both on empty stomach for at least 45mins. I injected using 31 gauge 1/2" needles, as its what my doctor prescribed me. Injections were administered as close to issue as possible with aspiration done with every shot, which was about ten pokes total in various points of my wrist/hand areas. After the first four weeks,
      I REQUIRED another four weeks a year or so later, and both were about a kits worth, aka 10 vials at 5mg per vial. As for the source, I can't provide that information as it is not in my best interest or the suppliers. Good Luck! And, wish you the best!

Doctor suggested stop lifting weights and I said for him not to even make the suggestion of stopping hittin the iron. If I even bumped my arm walking down the hallway it was excruciating. @NikiLivi5 Місяць тому +1

      I don’t want to live forever! I want to live the best life I can while I’m here & the healthiest with the least amount of aches & pains. At the end of my life I want to come sliding in the funeral home sideways in a completely worn out body having used every ounce of it up and say man, that was one hell of a ride. That said, I would rather make it up to that day feeling physically as good as I can. Quality is more important than quantity. No one wants their life cut short but once I get to the point I can’t physically do anything I think I might be ready to move on. Thankfully my great great grandma I had till I was 15. She went to sleep at age 96 & just didn’t wake up the next morning. She never used a walker or cane & still worked in the garden, cooked & cleaned. My dad’s mom passed 2 years ago at age 100. My dad’s dad passed in 2012 at age 95. My mom’s mom passed at age 66 after a short battle with lung cancer. She was a smoker. My mom’s dad died 6 months after my grandma. They had been divorced since my grandma was 16. But he never remarried & my grandma was forced to marry him at age 14. He never came home & was in the Navy. He passed at age 74 of lung cancer from smoking. His family says he died of a broken heart after my grandma died. 🙄 My great grandma died at age 76 & was a smoker as well. My grandmas mom on my dad’s side made it to age 100. My Pappaw’s mom on my dad’s side made it to 101. I’m not a smoker & never have been. As long as my lupus doesn’t get any worse I’m planning on at least hitting 90 if not 100! Me & my sis have a bet to see who can make it to be the one who lived to the oldest age. But if we end up in a ww3 nuke scenario, civil war, total economic collapse, or another of the govt’s possible apocalyptic events I’m not sure I want to live in that. I’m getting older (late 40’s) & tired. I really don’t want to start over especially in those scenarios. How long I want to live depends on how things go. But I do want quality! Being stuck inside in pain is no life I want.

    Reason i clicked on this amazing video is the docudrama movie DALLAS BUYETS CLUB. The main charactor was importing + providing availability of a 20 year USA preapproved peptide into USA to sufferers of HIV-AIDS. Because the newly approved cocktail of HIV meds were killing patients faster than the disease. Then AMA then unapproved that peptide making it illegal in USA. In the movie one patient mentioned he shared his peptide with his dad with dementia and it brought back his memories, but had to continue it to keep his mental health. In the mivue the female doctor who agreed with the dallas buyer providing the peptides because they were way more effective then rhe cocktail. In real life she was the one who identified that specific peptide, then right after her peptide was made illegal only in USA and the AIDS Cocktail meds was pushed on HIV patients she had a strange early death. Yes our fav gov NIH employee Mr Ouchi was involved pushing the unaffective cocktail.

    All these health "optimization guru's" bug me. For one thing, I ofhen see them give out blanket recommendations for supplements based off of an extremely cherry picked reading of a few studies. Second, the reality is that if you are doing the big basics right, i.e you are not obese or malnourished, you are eating a diet that is varied enough that you aren't deficient in anything, you are exercising, you are sleeping enough and managing your stress levels, you've already done 99% of everything you can do for your health.
    That "optimization" stuff all fits into that last 1% and it will be completely overridden by factors you can't control, most notably genetics.

    • @KeterMalkuth
      @KeterMalkuth 6 місяців тому +3

      @macemaster I'd argue that peptide "Supplementation" isn't necessarily snake oil, though perhaps throwing a mystery mix of random peptides into a supplement isn't particularly effective or relevant. Both HGH and Insulin are peptides. Plenty of other PEDs are shown to have a myriad of effects that, when used appropriately and with due discretion, are quite miraculous. The issue is that you have to establish efficacy of every compound individually to be able to say both how effective it is and the cost-benefit of it's usage. "Peptides" as a blanket term is somewhat misleading though, you're right.

      Not 100% certain, but look into NAC, glycine, vitimin C, vitimin E, and creatine. There are other amino acids that are your friend here but that's present in the literature. Can't guarantee this is at all right for you, but people have used this stuff to treat microvasospasms and the ischemic heart conditions it can cause in lupus patients (that don't respond to traditional methods) since the Japanese started looking it this stuff in the mid 1990's. Not a perfect answer to your question, but the literature may point you in the right direction for your condition. Be warned the stuff is complicated AF and your average physician, with the exception of certain rheumatologists, has zero clue (their degree paths simply aren't long enough to learn all the biochemistry and physiology involved).
