Funny how Europe and the US have different tastes :) in Europe this new GLC exterior definitely is appreciated over the GLK. Anyway, everybody has its taste. I actually love this car. It drives great and interior is beautiful. All things are very ergonomically placed. The touchpad is a bit over the top, I would prefer the BMW solution. But it's actually made for the Chinese market. So they can more easily write Chinese characters. Big market there. Anyway, good video. Love the car.
Yes it is a 2 litre. You don't pay for engine size you pay for the unmatched engineering. This 2 litre 4 cylinder is way faster than a 3 litre V6 Cadillac XT5 as shown on the TFL channel. Just goes to show that engine displacement is not a precursor to what the price should be because clearly the engineering is top notch. Thus the 300 badging....performance similar and in this case better than a 3 litre V6 in some cases. It is not just a brand you pay for. There are tangible qualities that justify the higher price. And again for you guys only 41000 dollars....wow how crazy cheap. Not fair actually. Most countries would be paying about 10 to 15 thousand more for that same model.
Excellent review, very well done mate. We've just ordered one of these and thankfully it doesn't have the touchpad, which seems to be a waste of money. I'm a bit wary of the run flat tyres and will probably buy a spare wheel and replace the tyres with ordinary ones when the time comes.
A great unboxing....very well done. I really like how you go over actual pricing and price comparison with other brands. The new GLC looks like a crossover C-class which I think is great. I totally agree that the former GLK exterior was far, far, far nicer than this new exterior. The exterior looks like something Hyundai would sell. Because of that it would be a tough sell for me. If I'm going to pay $50K all inclusive, I want it to stand out...both interior and exterior. The front fascia is it's best angle clearly due to the grill and center star. again, great job with this review. I very much like your channel. Cheers.
Thank you! Yeah, the exterior here is a bit lame and, now that you mentioned it, somewhat Hyundai-ish. Not good for a Mercedes. And for $50k (at the very least) all Mercedes models need to stand out from the rest of the pack. Isn't that one of the whole points of buying a luxury car?? Glad you're enjoying the channel! Thanks again for all of your comments and viewing. Much appreciated :-)
CarBuzz - Unboxing Everyday Cars and Supercars I think most prefer the new design though. The GLK was not very classy or elegant. It was wierd and boxy looking. Glad it's gone for this far more classy yet sporty and strong look.
You had a non airmatic GLC and you commented about the Sport+ that tightens the suspension. Sport+ does not change the suspension setup in a non airmatic car.....
That much money. Lol. You guys in the US and Canada have no idea how lucky you are getting cars this cheap. My word. Add 40% more for most other world markets.
Uhh, MB did something wrong with the seat controller. It's a major design flaw because it can be only used while driver is pushing controller till shallow reclining position. After that even taller looking dude in the video must hold his upper body in very awkward position to let the seat fall lower. I was very excited with these MB GLC300 series that has an extra cargo space under the cargo space because I have lots of PC repair tools that needs to be stored securely. But I am now changing my mind. Reclining a seat is very common things to take a rest on long driving tour and seat controller must be in a handy position that can raise body upward or down for napping without hassle.
Wow, thanks for pointing that out. Didn't realize that before. So yeah, Mercedes did make a bit of a design flaw here. Too bad, because otherwise this is a solid vehicle.
I bought the 2017 GLC 300. Very disappointed on the 360' camera. ( when sunshine in one side, then other side in shadow will be dark black). & the garage door opener is very weak , I have to buy a portable door opener to open the garage door.
Ben Fei. As I was programming the garage opener for both doors, I found that the vehicle must be on in order for the remote opener to function in the glc 300.
This is such a detailed, well-spoken and informative review! Thanks for making this for all the used car buyers 😊

Well filmed and nicely reviewed. Thanks for filming all the features more in detail.

Note: The cover in the back when not in use can be put under the floor out of the way.
Noted, thanks!

Save a reclining position in the memory, 1 push on the button!
is this compact or mid sized...
Does this have Apple carplay?
нормальный обзор все чётко и понятно.
Правда я ничего не понял
I want the diesel model of the GLC! Used to be able to get it but now? I want the diesel model! Not that poky 4 cylinder gas engine! Why don't they?
