    It would be great if you compare rf 35 1.8 vs rf 15-35 2.8...just the way you did previously for rf 35 1.8 vs 24-105. Thanks

      I have plans to do something like that, maybe not as extreme but I'll definitely cover the topic and compare all the lenses 👍.

      Underrstandably. It's a great lens and would upgrade most kits. Just not for me since I rarely shoot in that range.

      That's incredible, quite the impressive collection you have there. I am just getting to know the 15-35mm more and it's damn fine for sure.

    Very good points. Thanks. Why not the 16mm lens for clogging?

    • @ChrisSpiegl
      @ChrisSpiegl  2 роки тому +1

      Because I want the versatility of being able to zoom in when needed (at least a little bit). And also, I think the 16mm prime was not out at the time or at least not out for long.

    Nice lens .. i hv plans to get the Sigma 24-70mm fr my new a7s3

      That's a really versatile lens. I would just make sure that the 24-70 is actually your range. Always depends on the videos you're trying to do ofcourse.

      @@ChrisSpiegl yes, it will be good, just maybe in the future will hv to buy another smaller wide angel prime lens which i would be using with a gimble and also while vlogging. I use a gimble a lot and this lens will not fut my ronin sc.

      @@RivuSouravBanerjeeVideoEditor I understand. Luckily the Zhiyun Weebill 2 can handle the EOS R with the 15-35mm. Cause especially with vlogging I don’t want to have a prime. 😇

      @@ChrisSpiegl since i hv started i hv always vlogged with a prime lens .. after getting the 24-70mm ..i will first time vlog with a zoom lens, lets see if i like it more 😀, having so many focal lengths will surely be more useful

      @@RivuSouravBanerjeeVideoEditor/videos That's true. I was the same. I started out with Prime Lenses about a decade ago but now with the Zooms I am really happy. Surely I will get some primes in the future again… but for now? The versatility far outweighs the quality loss.

    I refuse to use clear filters, I want the best of my lens. That's why I use the hood for the protection instead.

      I’m new to photography however I mostly use high end CPL on mine. Any side effects?

    • @oooooooooole
      @oooooooooole 4 місяці тому +1

      @@minimeguju6868 it will reduce the amount of light for sure. I used to use CPL earlier a bit myself, but mot of the time you can achieve the typical saturation/effect on post processing. Otherwise, only use CPL when you're going to reduce the amount of reflection, and only then. Even high quality filters will reduce the image quality, it is an extra layer of "general" glass afterall.
