yeah generally unfavorable cause it ruins ur lock. But then again, if you lock too consistently, the blast mode will come early too. You generally deal lesser dmg while teo is on blast mode, cause you can't consistently flinch him into topple/clagger (i can explain more if ur interested). So giving teo some room to breathe means late blast mode, and late blast mode means he dies within the first blast mode. So yeah, there are pro and cons, but generally still you don't want him to turn i supposed.
Interesting. In speedrunning, strats drastically changed when you are getting better and getting to more advanced level. I get what you mean there, sometimes, when you having a lot of locks, it doesn't means it's automatically a faster run. Things doesn't work in linear progression sometimes as there are other factors that is in considerations as well
