I finally took my PO-7 to the range, I haven't been in almost a year. The kit made an unbelievable difference. The last time I went to the range my daughter made me look like a beginner. This time the PO-7 was a completely different shootin iron. I'm not kidding 15 rounds at 12 feet all were in the black and back at 25 feet all in the black. I was so impressed with my hits, I felt like I should be shooting in competition with a little more practice. If you're on the fence about installing one of these kits. GO for it, don't wait. Follow instructions the video can be stopped, rewound and played at many times as needed for a proper job and you will absolutely love the way it shoots. If you don't want to do it yourself, send it to them, they'll do it for a fee but it's worth the price.

I finally got it done. Without this video I'd have never gotten through this. Great job hitting all the focus points, angles, and descriptions. Everything went swimmingly and seamless up until the final step of reinstalling the decocker, then it all went to angry town. A brain surgeon could've told me he'd done easier things than this and I'd have believed him. Anyway, after about an hour of fiddling I finally got it together. I should've taken a before and after pull weight but I didn't. My cheap Wheeler pull gauge is telling me the DA is about 9# and the SA is about 4.5#. I don't know how accurate that is, but I can feel the difference and it feels much better and smoother than it was. I'm satisfied with that. I didn't want it to be ultra light anyway. It feels about just right. If I were to carry it, which I might, I don't want to feel like the DA can go off by accident. Thumbs up here.

This is my first time to ever review a video but I was so impressed with this one from MCARBO I just had to say something. I've used your parts on my Ruger PC Charger, and Hi Point 995.All parts were perfect fits and excellent quality. So, I knew the kit would be a quality kit. After watching the video, a couple of times with its excellent instruction and camera angles I felt confident enough to tackle it even though I had never taken a gun this far down. I bought the gun 2nd hand and it was dirtier than I thought when I got deep into it. So, I did a thorough cleaning and polishing of all the parts and with the new springs the results is nothing short of AMAZING!!! I don't have a trigger pull gage but I would have to guess the double pull is in the 6-8 lbs. range but very, very, smooth so there is no grit, no stacking, no roughness of any kind. Just a nice smooth pull! The single action is so smooth and light it almost scares me, I would guess it is around 2 lbs. or less. It is lighter than my CANIK TP9 ELITE which comes from the factory with an action trigger job by professionals and from what I have read is about a 2.5 lbs. trigger. It is also lighter than my TIMNEY Triggers which is 3 lbs.
This excellent video and MCARBO's excellent spring kit saved me about $500. as I was going to send my CZ off and have a competitor's kit put in. I'm glad I decided to do it myself as now I am more familiar with the inner workings of the CZ and have an amazing trigger. Can't wait to get it to the range.

Having just finished this kit on a P09 earlier today, I would suggest the following change with the reassembly: wait until the very end to tuck the trigger bar spring under the trigger bar. Reassembling the decocker lever is a bear and a half to do and having one less thing under spring tension to balance is better.

I am more than impressed with this spring kit from MCARBO!!
Took my P-07 to the range immediately after the work was done and shot thru 100 rounds. Works flawlessly and the double action trigger pull is buttery smooth and way lighter. Single action trigger pull is crazy. Able to stage it right before the break for very consistent shots!!!

I've already reviewed this but I've got to go again. I just finished the Mcarbo spring kit installation using this video to also sand and polish. The result was amazing. I love CZ's and own three including the Shadow 2. This is my favorite as the shadow, in my opinion is a better overall gun, it also cost a bunch and is not a carry gun. The CZ P07 is a carry gun and super accurate. It did have a bit of a gritty double action and this of course in a lesser fashion, gritty on the single. After putting in the spring kit and following this video (which is the best how to I've ever used) I cut the pull in half. The double action is so much better and smooth. The single action was shocking. Smooth as glass and pull cut in half and I tested it with my meter and it was a solid 2.49. The following 10 pulls put the average at this number and the difference was only as high as 2.5 and low of 2.8 with the majority dead on at 2.49. Double action was 6.1 average with only a .1 variation high and low. I say this because large deviation between pulls is horrible. This kind of consistency is outstanding and hard to find on trigger upgrades and I've done a lot of them on my handguns and rifles.
Anyway, this is a very inexpensive mod that will make your great CZ even better.

Guys, I just wanted to say thank you for an excellent and informative video. I just purchased the kit and was able to all of this with no hitches. The use of the video close-ups was great and really helped illustrate what needed to be done. A couple of points that might clarify for others doing this for themselves. In my case (p07 suppressor ready purchased 2/2021), the hammer was in much better shape with no obvious machining marks and a very smooth finish. I have maybe 400 rounds through it at this point and I suspect they are just machining them better now. I hit it quickly with the sandpaper but then went directly to polishing. The trigger bar also was much smoother than I expected, so that part went more quickly than depicted here. Finally, when removing the factory firing pin retention pin, I recommend a roll pin punch, next size up from what's stated and importantly, have a second set of hands depress the firing pin from the back when you start to tap the pin through. Made a world of difference. The action is much smoother now and look forward to taking it to the range tomorrow afternoon. DA is notably softer and the SA feels very similar to my shadow 2, so I think I'm under 3 lbs now in SA. There was quite a bit of gritty feel before, which is gone. Thanks again!

      @johnstrange8576 3 роки тому

A quick update after my trip to the range. This was a great success. My accuracy at 3/5/7 yards was dramatically improved due to a lighter, smooth, consistent SA trigger. Much tighter groups. I did some work from the holster as well today and the lighter DA pull helped with that first shot placement. No issues with FTF or anything like that, shot great. Using 115gr FMJ. I'm really pleased and tickled that I was able to do it myself. Can't wait until friends ask for a turn and I can casually mention that I did the trigger job... ... Thanks again, MCARBO!

Bought and installed this kit and polished the internals as shown in this video. Made a world of difference...S/A is just great now. D/A..well it made a difference but not like the difference with the S/A. Warning...disassembly of a CZ is not as easy as a Glock! Take your time, watch and re-watch if needed. E mail Mcarbo for any assistance, they are more than willing to help out all they can!

I did some similar work on an HK45 years ago and vowed to leave all further purchased DA/SA alone, but here I am. thanks for the video! Another thing is to take a chain saw file (small rounded file) and lightly get rid of the plastic over molding on the frame near the web of your hand. That drove me crazy and if careful you can barely tell it was knocked off and smoothed out.

Just installed the spring kit & I'm very happy with the results. Single & double action are much smoother & lighter, with the single action being the most noticeable improvement. It's borderline 1911 good! I'd recommend removing the extractor spring from the frame while doing the work & re-install it when you're ready for that step. I'd also recommend being fairly meticulous with how you seat the pins during re-assembly. I didn't have the sear pin & hammer hinge pin seated exactly correct and I had difficulty making everything work. There's a bit of a learning curve to it - mostly learning from your own mistakes. Everything in the video is accurate and the results are equally impressive. This spring kit & some Talon grip tape make this P-07 a joy to shoot now.

Holy crap!!! I just finished a trigger job on my CZ75B Omega, following this tutorial. Wow!! The double-action trigger is smoooooooooooth. Both are softer, too. I have to run out to the range now. Thanks, Chris.

Just in from the ops check. Hallelujah! That double-action is very good. It's what I was looking to achieve. Am so pleased with the double -action that I forgot to shoot it in single-action.
Chris, your service, shipping, product, and video tutorials are all excellent.

Decided to nickel plate my trigger and hammer since I had the lower apart. Looks great and with the spring set, it shoots as good as it looks and it looks great. Should be getting my slide back in 11 days with the optic cut for my Holosun 507k. Had the factory sights kept at the rear and had the slide finished in nickel. Can't wait to take her out for a play day at the range.

Nice vid and thanks. I must say that using a proper 3 mm roll pin pilot punch with round tip WILL prevent a lot of the damage shown to the striker roll pin.

Just installed my springs and polished everything. Single action is definitely light and nice. Double action is smoother and lighter. It’s still a slightly heavy pull but that’s what you want with a defensive pistol. All in all, I’m happy. It’ll be at the range tomorrow for testing
    My install tip:
Don’t engage the trigger bar spring until you get the de-cocker installed.

@@MCARBO Took me a while to get around to it, but finally got the kit installed, along with the polish job. I already had a "2,000 round trigger job" on my P09, but this still made a huge difference. Best bang for your buck upgrade you can get!
