I adore Olivia Coleman! I’ll watch anything she is in, great actress!
Bloody f***ing brilliant! Go see!! 👌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I lived in Littlehampton for years, and Arundel (where they seem to have filmed most of the scenes); looking forward to watching a funny, real life story from Sussex by the Sea
Yes, please 😊
Funniest part was the black judge with the Etonian accent😂😂😂😂
I need to see this.
Loved it! Olivia Colman's final line is one of the most perfectly delivered movie lines ever.
This looks really interesting. Looking forward to it!
While historically inaccurate.
So so so so good!!!!
Amazing cast, this is going to be good
You do know there were no Indian or black policemen in 1920s England?
@@EthanKnight97nobody cares about that 😭 if the actor is good, who gaf?
Next up; Ray winstone as Storm from the X-Men, after all if the actor is good who gaf?@@anneboleynlosthead

😂😂😂@@EthanKnight97
Historically inaccurate to the point of deception. If you like that sort of thing, you'll love it. ❤
It's a film you daft gammon, not a doco.
I was so looking forward to seeing this due to the trailer, but the film itself was not as good as the trailer portrayed it to be. Its still good, but not great...
This is really hillarious to read comments about diversity of the cast and casting a shadow on English history. The movie shows what this history is a male domination, full of people who thought the world of themselves and looked down on women. What's to ruin? You don't seem to change at all though because yoy do it again in those comments that neglect the amazing screenplay, actors work and camera work. You should be ashamed of yourselves, historical righteous puritans. By the way, the movie is great, in case you did wonder...
You should be ashamed believe that this type of casting is right.
To pretend that Britain was a beacon of racial equality when it clearly was not is shameful
I’m really resonating with your statement xx
Regards
A mixed race lady 🙏🏻😇🙏🏻
I was all in until they decided to show 1920’s Britain as diverse and multiracial. Utterly pointless and ridiculous. Takes you right out of the period you’re supposed to be watching.
So I’ll pass.
Yea it’s fckn stupid. The black judge either the poshest accent ever was just too much.
Also the “comedy” is just people swearing .
Funny if you’re a little kid I suppose
More woke ideology tripe.
Look past the colour of actors and the factual inaccuracy. Just a great, funny, British film.
For god sake, is there no end to this constant bullshit!?
Ikr! Make it stop! It’s had a negative effect on me
what bullshit
Woke bollocks.
😂😂😂 yea it’s so cliched,as if a bunch of teenagers wrote it.All
Men are all nasty stupid morons (unless their black) and women are amazing (unless they are religious)
The black judge made me laugh aswell FFS
Everything I don't like is woke!
Ahh yes, the famous female Indian police officers of 1920s England, these people really don’t care about transporting us to a time and place anymore do they? Provided your politics are on display to hell with historical accuracy.
Calm down gammon, it's a film.
@@dwblurb Is that an insult based on the (assumed) colour of my skin, that's not very progressive is it?
No rebuttal from you, just insults and racism. Clearly I've made you think, you're welcome for that fleeting moment of intellectual stimulation I gave you.
Meh 😕
The film is about the first white english woman to be allowed into police force how thw hell can anyone cast a black woman to play this part WTF
It isn't about the first female police officer in the UK. The first female officer came into the service in 1915 a woman named Edith Smith. by 1918 female detectives were being trained at Scotland Yard.
Given that it's based on a true story, set around 100 years ago, with all the actors in period costumes, it's a bit weird that there are quite a few non-white actors in it. It creates a completely distorted picture of a past when the reality was that outside a few small urban pockets, Britain was a pretty uncomfortable place for non-white people, who were a rarity. Why bother spending all that money recreating a past world, then ignore one very important detail? If you want a historical drama with a multiracial cast, why not pick 1970s Birminham or Bradford? At least it would feel believable.
That’s just what I was thinking. It insults the intelligence actually.
This is nothing new, for the last decade film studios have been trying to rewrite British history. This is ethnic cleansing of the native white Britains.
Exactly why I downvoted 🤮🤮 THE MESSAGE 💩
Racist much aren't you
@@kierendempster2875 Pointing out historical inaccuracies isn't racism.
I think Olivia Colman is a great actress but sort of sick of seeing her on screen lately!
damn god forbid a woman make bank
Then don't watch.
YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH OLIVIA COLEMAN IS A SAINT!
More woke anti-white animus
I’m boycotting this film because of this
@@katuk8173Good. Fewer racists in the cinema the better.
More woke nonsense and box ticking. Why get period detail correct but cast Africans?
Total load of woke bollocks
PLEEEASE STOP RAMMING BLACKS DOWN OUR THROATS! I didn’t have a racist bone in my body until 2020
Blacks have been rammed down your throat? I would consult a doctor my dear. As for the second comment. Just unbelievable that someone would write that, let alone think it. I wasn’t racist until 2020?!
Nearly as funny as the film.
Stop being a weakling and letting movies turn you into a racist, their woke agenda shouldn’t have you hating any certain group try thinking for yourself and not let Hollywood program your mind
