Im also back in my hobonichi weeks! We're on the same wavelength 😅 I realized that I only need daily pages for work days, and the mega has like the exact num of note pages, if i remove weekends and holidays. So I'm trying it out and might go mega for next year haha

Currently I'm using the Mega Weeks for my reading log/planner and it's been working for me.

I have issues with planning right now. I have several I really want to work in but I just been too blah. It gives me anxiety to both not use and then use it. I don’t know. I’m just having a hard year.

I don’t think that “planner peace” is a thing. I think “today’s planner peace for now” is a thing… I’ve given up trying to search and find planner peace, and I do and use what suits me today, at this time in my life. Just do what works for you, today, and buy mindfully. That’s what I’m trying to do, without the guilt and remorse, just enjoying today and what works for me at this moment. Good luck 🍀

Have you tried the Sterling Ink N2 (weeks) Horizontal? It has the grid on both sides of the spread, white paper, and no quotes. It still has TRP, but the other features seem like the things you are looking for!

Every year I buy a Hobonichi Weeks and every year I ONLY use it for one week and then it sits on the shelf waiting to be repurposed. This morning I watched @lindeyscribbles and you see, what happened was...Amazon will be delivering a weeks next week. 🤦
Lol…it’s funny how that happens. I always order one, and despite how I might struggle, I ALWAYS end up keeping up with it!

I just had a good laugh at myself 2 days ago because I told my sister in law that after this year I would NEVER buy the Weeks again. The moment I committed to that thought, I dug out the 2024 one that I had not touched since December, and have been faithfully using it ever since. I've since backfilled the whole thing to January 😂Planner peace just doesn't exist. Lol. So now I'm only using the Weeks mega and a Cafe Note B6 slim notebook for work. I am also using an A6 Hon for daily Journaling. It's small enough to sum up my day every day.
As for the leather olive green Weeks, I learned my lesson in 2023 when I bought the Weeks Sneaker and couldn't find a single cover for it. I think it's the same size as your leather cover weeks. It totally turned me off.

I’m absolutely in love with my Weeks again, wondering whatever possessed me to leave. I’m so much happier back in a “normal” Weeks. At least we’ve both learned a lesson! Already dreaming of September!!!
I love these Hobonichi Weeks videos I've been watching, and I loved yours, too! I ordered my first Weeks a few days ago. I got a hardback mega, and am looking forward to using it. I do have the Cousin, but that's a LOT of room to fill up, so I thought maybe a Weeks would be better. The ONLY thing I don't like about the Hobonichis is that the grid is so small! Can't they just make it slightly bigger? Then it would be perfect. I think my Weeks is coming from Japan, so it will be a little longer until it gets here. I'm excited! Thanks for your video!
Yes! The small grid has been a bit difficult-I don’t have tiny handwriting. But I keep coming back to this. I love the idea of the Cousin but just can’t make it work.

I’m back in my Sterling Ink whatever the weeks size is, mostly due to my kids summer activities starting up. I haven’t been in my HON at all. I started the year in my Sterling Ink passport, but it doesn’t have space to accommodate all of the summer sports fiasco happening. 😂

I’ve been planner hopping more than usual,too. I started in an A6 Common Planner, spent 2 weeks in a Jibun Techo A5 slim, and now I’m in a B6 Wonderland 222! I hate the stacked weekends, and the fact that there isn’t an extra column on the week view for To Do’s, but I was making my own quarterly view and trackers. So we will see. I am determined to stay in it for the next 2 months. Unrest, unrest. Ugh!😩
Just got a weeks…being delivered tomorrow…I HAVE to try it…if it doesn’t work out…ok..back to my cousin ❤

I've been using the cheap version of the weeks from Amazon for self care. In may I'm going to try the same book type for edc. But I have my a6 rings setup just in case, lol

I used the weeks for the last 2 years and decided to do something else this year and I've been in chaos... so I've been highly considering going back to the weeks for my main/on the go planner... my planning is so minimal. Everything else is journaling so... maybe I'm off to Amazon 😅😅

I have not been keeping up with social media for a few weeks, so I apologize if this question is dumb, or already answered. lol I thought you were going to use the Wonderland 222, or maybe that was just a review of it. I don't remember. lol So, for May you are using the Weeks at your main planner? What other planners do you still have in your line up? I think you have some others for journaling and things. Right now for me, I am still in the pocket rings, as my planner, and my wallet. I don't know if you remember I tagged you on my IG post when I switched. haha I have a Happy Planner I like to decorate, but I haven't been good about filling it out. Always choices and decisions. lol Hey, I have a video request, if this is something you would put on your channel. I am curious to know what Bibles you use, your favorite translation, etc.? My go to translation is the NIV because I know it is as close to the scroll writings as you can get in our language for now. I do enjoy other translations for reading, but for study, I prefer the NIV. I just got the NIV Journal the Word Bible. I haven't done anything with it yet. I am excited to get into it. Do you use a journaling Bible? Take care!
My intention was to use the W222 instead of the Weeks, but at the moment the Weeks is winning. I am journaling daily in a large daily Moleskine as well. For the moment, these are the only two books I’m in.
My favorite Bible translation is ESV, hands down. I have so many in ESV, but my favorite is a single column journaling Bible.
I would like to see empheras in note pages. I've been doing that in my weeks 😊

Omg Sam you must have read my mind! I bought an April start Hobo weeks and hopefully it'll be delivered to Aus by the start of May 😬I realised I didn't need an A5 rings for my weekly overview because one week would be super busy and another week dead or I just wouldn't take my planner with me! Hopefully I can use the Weeks on the go coz I don't need dailies 😅

I have been all over the place too and for the moment have decided to use a Hobonichi Weeks for my everyday planner and use my personal rings as my reference planner. What pen are you using with the black ink? I am looking for a darker gel pen to use in the Weeks that won't smear.

Glad you're feeling better. It's hard for me to relate when people have too much of their act together. It's too elusive for me when I'm over here struggling with my peri menopausal brain, lol! I can't relate to - "I've been consistently planning in this same planner all year and it's totally working for me." I like watching what they have, but I can't fathom it when I'm throwing up my hands in utter frustration.
I feel like my hands have just been suspended in air the whole year. 😂 I never have my act together.
Not a hobonichi user - no matter what I do, the dang ink smudges, and I'm too fast & messy to deal with special blotter paper or letting ink dry. I just watch, to watch.

Im lucky in that i love my hobonichi and have done for a couple of years. Rings annoy me so I know never to go there again. B6 is an ok size but the weeks is mu peace. I write a lot, i dont write a lot it woeks which ever way. I hope May works out for you Sam. But love your honesty with it all.
