Hi Chad. Im new at chainsaw carving. First off all, wow i like your videos, and your art work. Secondly i was wondering, do you use green or dry wood?
I use green wood a lot. I carve it then let it dry and then do the finish work. It seems to be easier on the chain.

What do you recommend for painting a bear like this? Stain or even spray paint? And polyurethane over top of? Thanks
