Always a pleasure to watch these two gentlemen, "MASTERS AT WORK", do their thing!!! Hate when you have people give thumbs down on these videos.....If you do not enjoy it, Just get the hell off and go somewhere else!!!
THIS my friends is what REAL DJ's can and should be able to do without the help of any apps or programs guiding them or doing the work for them !!! I've been a HUGE fan of these two since the early 90's and they haven't lost a beat !!! The title Masters At Work is well earned and deserved !!!
@Leonard Johnson Larry levan and the grandfather of em all David Mancuso. Timmy Reggisford sadly is far underrated and unmentioned. He's an incredible DJ and better than 1000 of these youtube wannabes
DERRICK LANDERS of course, Frankie Knuckles , Farley, Robert Owens just to name a few. I partied in Chicago once back in the late 80’s .....Great time.
I'm 41, and clubbing alone, F.K passed away (rip) and I didn't seen him in live. Now when a Master/Monster/Legend plays in Paris I buy a ticket and enjoy me, myself and I (and with the crowd sometimes, when the alchemy is in the air)
I’ve never been to see them either. They’ve been in my city separately a few times in last few years but keep missing them. I’m 42 and been following them since kenny did that bucketheads album. Seen Todd Terry about 5 times but seem to always miss these guys 🤷♂️
Music is really the source to always bring Sisters and Brothers all over the world together! Great mixing set by Kenny Dope Gonzalez and Louie Vega. Always are The Masters or Their Work!
to the guy at the 32 minute mark i salute you sir....loving life ... thats what its all about lad. looked like a banging crowd...not many phones which is rare these days too

BHDread , they don’t understand. I’m a old Paradise Garage head and all the other clubs during that era and many years pass that. I probably be dead tired near death dancing. This brings back memories. The loft, The world. Oh fuck to many spots to mention in NYC
Facts brother, Kills me that all they are doing is staring at the DJ... they do that outside of the US, and i've even seen it some other states... my theory is that they come from the concert mentality (sway and nod while staring) and not the get down and get sweaty mentality (who cares where the dj is just BEAT that SHIT)... where my baby powder at!!!??
DjDedan , exactly. This set is so tight. I would lose my mind partying to this. Too bad there are no parties like this in NYC that I’m aware of. I would be there for sure.
this is amazing! I'm curious as to how these guys are keepin' so in sync! I mean practice practice practice, but their phrasing is so good. Can't argue their name that's for sure.
Hi Robert. MAW are pioneers of the Garage house movement from the Early 90's. It dont get any better than them. Audio Gold !! Everyone to listen will be blessed in the name house. Amen. 🙏
i love that they play a few tracks from Louis's new album. Also Kenny usually dj's with a laptop, but not here for some reason. A few people have commented that they dont know who MAW are - huh! where you been for the past 30 years?
Some of you may know about the Great Commission MAW and especially Louie Vega fulls it in taking Gospel House to the ends of the Earth. Thank You Jesus!
Another classic set by MAW - I hate to say it, but they need to spin this shit in front of some Brothers and Sisters from the old skool...the people are trying their best to groove to it and I get the cultural divide - but I remember being clubs where sets like this have went down and the place went wild! Put this in front of the people that I partied with an the floor will burn with energy...the march is on...Larry would hold "mini-Church" in the Garage early Sunday morning. He would slow it down, even stopping the music...say a prayer about being able to see another Sunday and blast tracks like this - it was unreal!
DERRICK LANDERS . Bro, I’m a old Garage head . I know the feeling. If Larry pulled of a set like this which he had many times my head would explode. I would be the last one out the club.
I don't get it. Maybe it's a cultural thing but the dancers and the crowd aren't really DANCING. I'd be losing my frigging mind if I was there. Kicking, twirling, stomping, praising! The moment I heard the first beats drop before... It's Alright, I FEEL IT! It would have been all over. Somebody call a Dr. 'cause this 53 year old man is about to hurt himself! HAHA Then again, I can't tell you how to feel the music. The music has to lead you. And honestly, what I love about house is that you can do you. However that looks and feels for any individual is perfect in that moment and it doesn't matter what others think. Just dance! Dance! DANCE!!!
Hey i am from new jersey. And i never jam so hard. But i know what?. My birthday is in December. I hope you would like this on my birthday. So keep up the good work and keep rocking.
Can people just stop with the god-effing-damn tool snobbery and enjoy the stellar music selection?! Vinyl, CDJs, Traktor, Serato, Ableton, a cowbell and a stick... who cares about the gear-honestly! Just make people dance and have a good time. Period.
Dj of the dj in the worlds ❤❤

could only be topped with one change: the Use of Vinyl.
@Leonard Johnson Larry levan and the grandfather of em all David Mancuso. Timmy Reggisford sadly is far underrated and unmentioned. He's an incredible DJ and better than 1000 of these youtube wannabes
The young DJ don’t understand , you don’t just play the music , you feel it. You know it. It goes to your soul if you have a good “Master” DJ.
@Leonard Johnson Don't forget the other DJ's from cities other than NYC and Chicago that played and play excellent music!
DERRICK LANDERS of course, Frankie Knuckles , Farley, Robert Owens just to name a few. I partied in Chicago once back in the late 80’s .....Great time.
These Masters need to come to Jamaica and play here!!
i am 45 now , need to go and watch them one time before i regret it and cant.
i'm 54 hoping to go see them in july , so no you aint too old yet !
@@denseljosephs9500 i would but all the guys that i used to go clubbing with are now married or boring ..lol

I’m 44 and with my friends always go to one or two parties at year, last one was “the 3 kings” Vega/Morrison/hunphries
Masters at work the clue is in the name so glad I had the presence of mind to latch on to their music many moons ago

They are Kids... they don't know nothing about real house music
They were teenagers
Not born. Kids, just kids that tragically missed the good times for biological reasons 🤣
