My Top Tone RBAs / Boro Bridges (Top 10 High End + my budget list, etc...) From 2020 - early 2023

- Video featuring a Top 10 List of my favorite RBAs that perform best for me.. Also included a budget list, and a few honorable mentions.. Also, the RBAs listed represent my personal taste and because of that, they are RBAs that accel with RDL and DL vaping styles.. (2.5mm - 4mm AF)
I don't use MTL very often.. the tightest draw I can even work with is 1.2mm and to actually vape comfortably.., 1.5mm is basically the most restrictive airflow I'm willing to do.
However, based on some interest/concern in the comments.., I'll list my Top Ten MTL RBAs right here as well:

Mind you, as I said at the end of the video, I haven't tried everything. It's almost impossible to have tried them all at this point.. However, I didn't want to push this video back and delay things even further, for the consideration of a couple newer entries., compelling as they may be.. and the Midg hadn't even been released yet when this was recorded.. I recorded this at least a month prior to posting it on UA-cam yesterday (4/15/23)

You definitely need to get your hands on a skynet, I'm not too sure how I feel about it right now, it gives different flavour than other bridges I own like the omega, the unknown, bridg'd v2, exocet v2, not bad flavour, but different, it's as if the same coil, and same juice, at the same wattage brings out a different taste from e liquid so I'm not to sure how i feel about that right now, I'm not used to my favourite juices not tasting the same, but that also makes me think it's an rba that could make juices I previously didn't like too much taste better also so I won't be parting with it thats for sure, it also works very well for all styles from mtl all the way up to dl.
For mtl I'm firmly stuck on the 415 right now, love that bridge with 25g nichrome and some quality NET e liquid, but I'm going to try the raizen when I get a chance it looks promising.
@@MDM1992 makes me really want to try the Skynet : ) i have heard some mixed things though,, but like the idea of different flavor notes.. i did list the 415 in my comment regarding mtl rbas btw 🙂 thanks for watching

I am looking for an ambb (and an ATOM, but not quite as eagerly) I want one real bad, but I'm new to the bb scene, just fell down the rabbit hole because in the 3 years that this scene exploded I stopped buying vape gear, when I stopped being able to find nice DNA squonkers (we've had a recent explosion of those again, but I'm pretty sad I missed out on the squaze those were exquisite, but anyway that's not what I'm on about now...) so I've kinda fallen out of the being involved and I don't have much in the way of contacts for people who collect the stuff (I have gotten on a lot of the facebook boards and put together a gorgeous set up (I'm still waiting for it to be finished) and a nice little starting collection of bridges - I've grabbed a vapesnail (going to grab the steamshell this month as well for the big airflow and bottom wicking ) a remix'd (with jo sturdy toxic housing) an orbit error, and an NTSU, and I plan to grab a blackout mobb mv and a kb2. Grabbed a 3d printed voorhees custom 100c 21700(I didn't want to part eith my replay so I sought long and hard to ffind a nice one and someone offered me a stashbox along the way but I veered in a different direction, while I wait for my JHFWI custom cerakoted blue ,purple and black with white splatter( like a night sky) with toxic plates and panels, and I plan to grab the hoko wick'd collab when they come back in September, for my birthday. and I feel like this is a decent starter collection, but I'm starting to hunt down the ones like the ambb and atom that I think I'll really like, plus I'm planning to grab their armor integrated tips and possibly a c4 mod in the future and it'd be so awesome(can you tell, I'm a total nerd about collecting once I get started?), so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if you knew where to locate one?

I generally vape RDL-DL ... but in short, if I had to list some rbas I found best for MTL :
1. Dope
2. Krma
3. Nest
4. Spade
5. Amu
6. Eden
7. Vapesnail
8. 415
9. AMBB
10. Mobb Mini
alot of my favorite rbas are versatile enough to do both well.. but rbas like the Nest and Krma... they always stood out for me in that regard.. along with the Spade and AMU... but keep in mind,, I don't really vape below 1.5mm AF.. and 1.2mm is quite literally the tightest draw I'd even consider using lol.. i generally stick to the 3mm, 3.5mm, and 4mm range..

The stm I love for the 4.8 mm pin and the unkwn for the wicking. But for my mtl I just use the bridge that came stock with the Cthulhu aio

yeah the Skynet, Maven, Midg, Krma v2, Ammo..., there's a few that I still haven't gotten around to trying.,
I recorded this maybe a couple months ago now.., so a few of those were still unreleased or just coming out at the time.. but I didn't want to put off making the video any longer.. at this point, there's always something newer bound to come out the very next day., so I figured I'd just go with what I had up to that point..

I do love mobb mini.. but the small grub screws really the pain to work with.. i hope i can score the new scpter.. looks much better to work with.. but my only concern is the big juice flow on scepter coz i only use 5050 juice.. hope its not a problem.. good vid man keep it up

You gotta try the reload ammo and the ponte. The ponte just has the loudest coolest flavor you can get . Totally worth the money

@@toneohm Don't bother; Is a nightmare for first time user to get the amount of cotton right. The line between too much & too little is just crazy fine. After going thru hell with the wicking, the flavor is just mehhh, you just feels missing out alot.

Nice work Tone, worth the wait, smashed it. Very interesting. Have you actually put the 520 in a standard Boro? I have all that you mentioned accept the Jenna and the HMMR. The Mobb V is looking👌🏻because it takes the best from both the mini & the M2. The AMBB came with 1.5mm-4mm but a separate purchase mtl kit came later. I’m sure the shell came before the snail. Oh I don’t have the Dope either because I didn’t seek it at all because the airpin sizes (guess I should maybe tried) anyway good list. I would have thrown the cloud rba 2nd batch in instead of the HMMR. I would go 4- AMBB 3- Mobb mini 2- UNKWN 1- Mobb V (without having it ha ha) but I would honourable mention loads Xeta, 415bb, Voltrove, Vapesnail, STM, Omega there’s loads of good/great rba’s out there. Nice one Tone!
hey hey,, you know what...., im not sure I ever did put the 520 in a standard boro.. I know I did with the Pioneer Insider though.. 😬shoot.., I might actually be wrong about that.. i might have to test it.. or maybe it will fit in the Limelight tank.. looks too big for a Snail-tank though.. idk, im starting to think back and feel like it may have been an issue.. like worked for some but not others, idk.. damn.. glad you picked up on that though.. as for the Shell / Snail ..., i did mention it in then right order but didn't want to seem overly certain.. they were both technically released by the time I got into authentic billet box gear.. my Cloud rba was v1 with lousy tolerances.. so after that negative impression, I lost interest in them all together.. i haven't given the Mobb V much thought myself.. id much rather try the Maven, Skynet, or Krma 2 if possible.. and the STM.., well,, I didn't have a good impression of that so i left it out all together.. if I still had the Ovis RAM, I'd probably have given that a mention.. personally, I wouldn't bother with the Jenna imho.., but the Dope, even though they technically do slightly odd airflow numbers.. its not like they're off by much and i think that just makes it more interesting and unique of a vape experience.. not sure your exact AF preference but its very enjoyable.. i often go with 3.5mm - 4mm AF on rbas, and yet, the Dope still feels like plenty of air for me
@@toneohmyeah m8, now you’ve reminded me of a couple I had forgotten about and obviously the SkyNet. I have a couple of Ovis - all the pins, chimney & insulators are interchangeable with the Mobb mini. I vape 4mm but for something like the SkyNet I would vape 3.5mm the Mobb mini is ok for air because it feels a bit airier. Oh I got a BXR slim and personally I think that’s what the original BXR should have been and Mateusz threw in a peek Boro because there was an issue, then I was presented with the opportunity for a Locus just days after (ouch) but yeah couldn’t refuse and it is my favourite Boro mod, it’s like someone had been designing this for some time, the adjustable positive contact is just perfect and so solid/bulky no worrying about air pins with big holes at the bottom- it’s a lovely mod and the size it feels great in hand I think it’s only 21mm in depth. Yeah I know you had issues with your STM and the colour was purple instead of blue. I think it’s a titanium thing because I got another full SS version with my BXR slim and the tolerances are really bang on it’s tight to get the cap in the cage but once you do it won’t move at all. It keeps up very well the vape is reasonably saturated. Thanks again for putting all the work in! 👊🏻👍🏻
@@toms4097 yea, i had a dlc Ovis for a while.. the whole kit too.. got it new from Ryan.., but didn't give it much use overall n sold it.. it was well done though
@@toneohm Yeah some people used to say it’s a cheap Mobb mini but in reality it’s not much cheaper and it’s a good reasonably priced rba. I have the black version and also what they call Damascus. It put a smile on my face when I saw everything being exactly the same as the Mobb mini.
Hope you dial the CRNT in, it looks like it should be a banger especially compared to the P22, those inserts and it has decent juice wells with the squonk holes in the right place. Just the O-ring BS but once you have all the accessories that you’re still to get I think you’ll like it. Thanks for getting this rba video finished 👊🏻👍🏻
Would the 850 boro be better than the 520? I have been building for a long time.... my favorite rta is the kylin mini 2 it has great flavor imo .... what is the best flavor bridge for a lower price point? So i could dip my toes into the boro world.... i am guessing the flavor is not as good as rtas, but i want to find out if the carrying convenience is worth the flavor loss. Also, what do you recommend for a first boro mod?

K I was just kinda asking to make sure you did not get ripped off. I like the Jenna it's just like you said I took dremail an made the wicking port wider an it wicks like a dream. I give 225 for mine ss. He has the tops sections half off no decks but yeah does the clone do like the original alot of any clone I've tried it just not the same.

As far as it being a clone.. i had more success with this than the OG..hah
I've had tons of clones.. i only bought clones for the longest time bc i didn't use FB.. i usually get the same quality of vape from it them and have done comparisons to see,, usually the only drawbacks are the quality of metal for me.., once in a while, you get an atty with lingering machine oil.. that can kinda ruin it.. I've cleaned alot of gear with success.. but sometimes, no matter what you do.. it remains.. like my NarVA rta clone..
And i can just tell that rta is really good.. would love the real thing..
I mostly buy authentic these last three years.. but, idk.. I'm not an anti-clone kinda guy.. i see both sides of it though.. i think it's wrong of the clone companies.. but im not one to judge consumers about it.. everyones situation is different.. if ppl can't afford a 200 rba , but they get a 20 dollar one.., im glad they just get to experience it in some capacity.. i got the clone Jenna just for the challenge lol cause other ppl said they had no problems with the rba and i just didn't think there was any truth to it

what boro you think is best to avoid leaks? only experts like you can advicr these kind of stuff
the only truly leak proof rba is the Vision rba by Umbrella Mods.. but it can still gurgle if you wick it improperly.. wicking is crucial on every rba.. its all about practice.. I think the easiest thing to learn on is a Mobb.. its very straight forward.. but all rbas will fail if not done right.. the AF for the Vision comes from the top though so its technically impossible for it to leak.. good luck,, just keep practicing

yes,, it wasn't out when I made this video.., but it's also at the top of the list for me with the regular Unkwn.. (they vape nearly identically..)
Can u explain different for unkwn and midg except the chamber is smaller for midg? That’s my concern before i buy it. Thanks in advance
its mainly just the juice capacity aspect of the smaller chamber.. and there's no o-rings on the Midg rba.. the stock AF pin sizes are slightly different though but you can get just about any size at this point

if you rather have a 3mm ID coil.. , then the Dope isn't for you.., but i feel its best for RDL.., as I say in the video..

Its just not top 10 for me.. it's more ideal for mtl/rdl imo.. and i vape DL/RDL... i listed it in my top 10 for MTL.. (see pinned comment) 😉
I just ordered the Kilic Kil-lab R. It looks similar to the Unkwn. The only Boro rba I own is the Ether and I really don't like it.
I never had an either but that is also a similar style to those rbas too isn't it? That's a big jump in price for someone that only has one rba and doesn't like it.. unless you're getting the SXK Killab R.. i think a Mobb2 would be ideal for learning and enjoying rbas

I would get the 520
The quality of vape isn't going to change dramatically on a dollar for dollar basis.. it's true that some of the best designs do end up being the high end expensive ones but there's plenty of expensive lousy rbas too.. lol,, it's usually just the quality of metal/machining, and small business/ country of origin.. customer service that you're paying the extra money for... in theory anyway..
Plenty of cheaper ones can vape just as good.. for you, id factor on convenience in your decision since you're new to it. That's important. It takes a bit to get use to these types of atomizers, no matter which one you get.. so seeing that your new.. may as well ease into it unless you already wick RTAs effortlessly.. then you may have better luck in the beginning

U got any tips on wicking the bp insider, keep getting dry hits. Should the wicks just lay over juice ports or do u want em all the way down in em
Does rba boros come close to flavour and draw to a regular high end Mtl ?
For mtl,, yeah you can get a similar experience.. the only thing rtas offer that rbas don't is that certain level of back pressure / resistance that you get from a tank chimney.., flavor wise they work great

the widest AF for rbas is like... 4.5mm 5mm..
most rbas only open up to 3-4mm.. if you find a Cthulhu 520 rba.., that would be ideal,, bc without the pin, its 4.5mm and its a cheaper rba as well.. the Hussar STM opens up to 4.8 but its more expensive, harder to find, and isn't made all that well imo.. also, the 520 allows you to put a pretty large coil in there.. big posts, big chamber.. but if you want a 21700 tube mech .10 25mm dual coil type of vape out of an rba.., it just can't happen.. they're different.. but what I suggested would be the ideal transition

niice,, yeah I could honestly put the Atom in a top 5 spot..., I probably should have rated it better than 'best honorable mention' .., cause I use an OG Atom rba daily
REALLY wish the kirsch had more airflow so that you can run duals... even the 1.2 or 1.5 or whatever it's called its just not enough airflow imho. I'm not a big single coil guy, I'm actually not an at all single coil guy. I do occasionally run my dot aio with the dotsnail but very rarely do I use it. If the kirsch had more air I'd Definitely use it, i mean theres several rbas with 4mm or more airflow now, and the kirsch is what like 2.8mm or something. as it is it just sits in the closet. Anyway I'll end my rant, lol. Good video brother, well done. If I wanna get into boros, I definitely have a great idea of where to start. Thanks for sharing. Stay well and be safe.
I think they did a wider AF version in the Kerch + ... the v1 that i have is just 2.5.. at the widest..i think the Psych does 4mm if im not mistaken.. i mostly use 3.5 - 4mm in everything
Yea and the Kerch came out a while ago.. now i feel like most rbas that come out open up to 4.. i don't even think there were any 4s wen it came out.. the Psych though similar is much better imo.. but idk about running duals in that, if you can
Hi, you probably already know but the Kerch+ and the psyc both came with a maximum 3mm airflow pin. I did run the Kerch + in dual coil mode 32gx3 40g but I had to run it quite low and even with a single coil it’s noticeably restrictive compared to newer rba’s. If you want to see it in dual coil mode I think the best video to watch is by Nick Dumas. 👊🏻👍🏻
Yeah kerch is good but men that 3mm.airflow pin sucks wish it was 3.5 at least i have the og kerch i run a 3mm coil since with a 2.5mm is the same restricted as hell my style of vaping is more to the dl side

lol naa.. ,, actually,, I don't think the Mobb V was even a concept yet when I filmed this.. or at the very least wasn't publicly available yet.. but either way,, if I can be perfectly blunt.., I don't see it being very much different at all to all the other 'hundreds' of Mobb variations out there.. the Mini to the V2 was a significant difference in that you got a larger wicking port, build deck, and grub screws..., but otherwise, even that essentially vapes the same as all the other Mobbs.. nothing against the Monarchy/Hussar companies.., but its really just a matter of marketing.. the actual performance differences would be so subtle.. the overall shape and design for the wicking is still very similar.. which honestly.., is good! Which is better DL? MOBB V or UNKWN?
The Unkwn is the best rba imo for DL.. a Mobb V... i mean, its basically just another Mobb.. you can can any Mobb and they're gonna be basically the same.. the biggest difference is the Mobb Mini and the Mobb v2... everything in between is a paint job.. (and the original Mobb was a bit different.. but they were really limited) ... just don't go paying like crazy on an Unkwn.., unless money isn't a concern, i wouldn't go spending $300+ on an Unkwn... im sure you could get a Midg for rrp in a couple months..
Which MOBB is better? TLO or M or MV or mini?
I would get an M2 with the rdl cap or an MV.. idk it depends on your vaping style.. how big of a coil you like to use and how much airflow you like having

hey there Leo..,, so, I technically can't give you a first hand assessment as I've yet to try it.., but based on other people's first hand accounts/impressions.., its nothing to 'write home' about.., the quality of the first batch was not executed well I was told from some reliable sources.. However, I have also had some people who got one from the last batch, give it a pretty good rating.. Personally, I'm still curious to try it because I'm always so impressed with all the ESG products I've tried prior.., I just don't think I want to spend $250-300 to get one.. at least not right now.. thanks for watching btw : )

I had the original Tita mod and dotrba and based off that.., i just wouldn't bother with em afterwards.. their X rba has like a Ether look to it.. idk,, i don't buy much China gear these days or any gear for that matter lol

@@ntei9964 the DL version is what I was talking about. Mine was a toxic the DL cap. All other variants are identical on the inside just cosmetic. This list has changed for me though. All I use is the Midg and the OG Unkwn bridge. Everything else hasn’t been used in a very long time

Hey.., I'm pretty sure i show the clone Dope in my review of it..., along with the authentic and i point out the differences.. it was the 5A version.. i never had the SXK or YFTK.. (didn't know YFTK did one ..) bottom line.., it will give you the same vape if that's what you're main concern is..

I agree with you that Dope RBA is number one, but in my opinion, no other RBA is reaching the Dope level, and still, there is a big gap between it and the rest. So the following ranking RBAs after the Dope will come in the 7th :p

so.., if you look up my review..., you'll see the authentic one.., I did one of the first reviews of it (well before clones of it even existed) .., and i literally hated it.. hah.,, it was a real pain to build and wick... and considering the rrp was $325 (im a non hazer) i sold that shit and bought this clone.. spent more time with it.. it still is a pain to wick at times honestly but i love the AF on it.., i talked about this a few times in some of my live vlogs but yeah, my OG one had a dlc deck.. and it would flake off

I guess it's a matter of preference for me,, i like the 3-4mm airflow range..
I think the HMMR with its widest insert is plenty of air,, it might not seem airy bc of how it works, with the air traveling up and to the sides.. airflow that shoots directly under the coil is always going to feel more airy.. but can be more turbulent.. (at the same mm AF size)
Its like how i was describing the Orbit.. the Orbit and 520 can both do 4.5mm airflow.. but the 520 feels much more airy cause it's so direct.. the air doesn't have to travel around anything.. you can also use the HMMR without inserts i think.. i never tried it, but im pretty sure you can.. that might help a little.. i know taking out the insert all together is what gives you 4.5mm AF on the 520 though.. and bc the air travels around so much in the Orbit, its a very diffused 4.5mm AF
