    I'd love to see an analysis of how you improved over time, because you got so good at recreating these shots :D
    You keep saying you were happy to get it in only x shots, but I think you've just improved so much

      I find that using Pool cues with the bigger tips works for me (even with the regulation sized smaller Snooker balls) although with that in mind my only snooker cue is over 30 years old and most probably needs replacing

    Greetings from Arizona,
    I'm a newbie here. Amazing videos btw, you make playing on a 12 foot table look easy (it isn't)
    In regards to the Judd Trump (guy is an absolute angles master) "smashing into the reds" shot would perhaps training dots be an option? Ah, the patience you must have. I play on an 8 foot table, the pockets are bigger, and I have a hard enough time.
    Practice. Practice, practice.
    Keep up the great work bringing Snooker to the masses

    One thing i've always wondered when watching your videos. I've noticed that the speed on your table is "slower" than on the match tables we see on tv. Is this due to you using a different cloth, or are you using the same cloth, just that it's more worn out compared to the tv tables? They perhaps change cloth on the tv tables in between matches to get it as smooth as they got it?

    • @Breakfromlife
      @Breakfromlife  2 роки тому

      It’s a different cloth the ones on Tv would only last a month or so

    weird how we all find different parts of the game challenging ....one of my strengths is massive cue power ,that stuart bingham screw shot would be a standard shot for me and a lot of judd trump shots people fawn over dont seem particularly hard to me whipping and arcing the white round is easy ,,,on club tables let lone a star i can pot a blue and fly around the angles effortlesssly ...as a player i arent anywhere near your league though and general play i make so many mistakes in comparison ,little cheeky screw or stun shots catch me out too much and potting with lots of side im still so inconsistent on ...a friend of mine is a consistent century break player that i am NOWHERE near and he cannot believe some shots i can do lol

    Out of curiosity.... you do say the TV tables play quicker ... which i fully believe but how much of a difference is it actually.
    I mean how much action could a Judd Trump get on your table or how much could you get on a TV table (your rough guess?)
    Also much greetings from Texel in the Netherlands.

    Marks one handed escape pot is just so ridiculous. The fact you recreated it first attempt is even more ridiculous. By which I mean I believe you 100%. :D
    You could make a bonus video: how many times do you pot it out of 100 attempts?
    Have a good one, keep it up

  • @Innertorium
    @Innertorium 2 роки тому

    Give yourself more credit then that. The mark williams shot you got was a 10/10 recreation not 9/10. To pot it first time and the cue ball seemed to follow the same path. Please you should defiantly take 10/10 as if that was a match and you needed the pink you would of won. Amazing recreating the shot!

    There was quite a lot of talk on social media/bbc web chat after hte Williams game about why didn't he try and pot both red and black. It was never mentioned in the commentary (at least not on BBC) that this would have given Williams the advantage, but would be considered unprofessional, and after the Kyren Wilson declaring a foul that no-one else had seen it would have been a shame for Williams to have done this. I presume it would be akin to Senna taking Prost out on the first corner. My question though is, is there anything in the rules to have meant that Williams would have been in a disadvantage or would have forefeit the frame if the referee had considered that he had purposely fouled.

    Play a game of snooker, but more like 9ball.
    Have to hit a red (can pot any color after hitting the red)
    If any ball is potted you get that score.
    Then hit a color, (like normal snooker).
    If you pot the color you get a 1x points
    If you pot a red off a color, the color score is 4x and repeat until only one red is on the table.
    Then you can only clear the table (starting from the last red)
    Yes, there is a strategy to keep scoring a color off a red a settling for only a color to keep the red on the table, but it seems hard enough to not be a problem.

    To replicate these shots and most of the trickshots all you need is a decent video editing software. Some of these shots even if the players themselves attempt it 10 times they wouldn't go in. I have played many shots in the actual game against an opponent that nobody in the club could replicate them including myself.

    without a cloth as fine as Trump was on, you'll never see the same arc, even if you start the white off with the same power and spin. With a thicker, grippier cloth, the spin will effect and dissipate earlier meaning less arc, and thus the positioning and angle of the white after the spin has been "used" is all different

    I think actually there must have been some intention behind the Williams shot, because you both got it on the first go.

    Either the professional tables are really fast or the professional players gifted with a lot of cue power don't even need that much effort into shots to get the effect they want, you had to throw your whole body at that black on Neil's shot whereas he was just keeping still and only let his cue followthrough.
