I appreciate the auction videos as its the superior way to draft. Looking forward to your auction superflex videos.
Hey guys, love the content! Yeah, I use the Fantasy pros mock draft. You can put your leagues keepers in and do the auction through that. I have Kyler, CMC, RSB as my keepers. I found some of it to be a bit strange it’s a super flex league and the quarterbacks were going for over $40 even Goff and Stafford were that much. The RBS are all $50 even Mixon. It’s good practice because we do our auction in person so it gets a little crazy and money starts to get spent very carelessly. My par sheet already to go and what I want to spend on the positions and play from there. I try balanced approach. I usually go after a big player a decent part of my budget. I always seem to come out with a good grade with very little weaknesses and projected top of my league. Hopefully I can translate it to reality.
Sometimes you can't tell who your opps will value most. I got outbid for Amon-Ra at $65 bc my opp viewed it as the end of a tier. I did get Ja'Marr for $56 next but then I had to watch as AJB went for $42.
Prices always go higher in my leagues than mocks. Which makes me change up my strategy a few times. I tend to finish in the top of my leagues still.
I quit doing mock drafts to prepare for my auction league. CMC alone, always goes for 80 plus dollars every year in my league. The top 20 fantasy players always cost at least 65 dollars or more in my league. And it's a 12 team league to boot.
Our home league seems to get more aggressive each year
@@FantasyFootballProphetinteresting that it gets more aggressive over time. My league has been the exact opposite. First five years saw top players go $80+. Highest ever was $95. Nowadays it’s odd to see anyone go for over $60. 15 years ago I felt better about spending up because I knew the sleepers and value I could get late. Now that there’s a million different websites and rankings for people to use. It’s seems like there are no more deals to be found. Everyone knows about all the late gems, up and coming players, and stud rookies.
Back in the day, the person who knew football players best would typically win the league. Now you win the league by having the best tactics, roster construction, etc.
good job guys. I'm also in a 14 team keeper auction league. Definitely the hardest kind of league to plan and execute a draft for so I really appreciate your channel. Trying to decide if I should keep Zay Flowers for $14 which is slightly below his value as he'd probably go for more in the actual draft but not keeping him would give me more flexibility. Thoughts? Do you guys have the full auction results so we can see what everyone else went for? curious what Mahomes went for.
Mahomes went for $15 in this one
How are people going so hard at Cee Dee? He hasn’t reported to camp. No one knows what kind of shape he’s in. I’m sure he’s legit but 70+ for a guy that technically might not be ready for week 1 ..
Risk and reward I guess. Surely the Cowboys do his contract. But who knows with Jerry!
I would guess if you are arguably the best receiver in the league, you would try your hardest to be in shape, at least enough shape to start the season decently.
Yeah 70 is high especially if he sits out/suspended. Might cost you some wins but he will undoubtedly carry your team when he returns.
Rashee rice for one buck its nuts, pure fishes on that league
1 player Keeper Salary League: Keep AJ Brown @ $40 or Pacheco @ $6? Thanks guys!
How are keepers determined in your league cause why was Puka $30 that kinda seems a lot for someone you probably got off waivers last year?
He was actually $10. Our league allows the trading of up to $20 draft dollars as well so I started the draft -$20 so it was added to Puka. $10 the minimum keeper.
Curious to know how much James Cook went for in your draft? I have an option to keep him for $30 and am considering it assuming he goes in $20-$30 in my league.
He was an $11 keeper in this one
I also could just keep Bijan at $69. I wasn’t sure about him being worth it but after seeing what you paid…
Anything for superflex?
Not yet but it’s being recorded soon
Puka wil have a better fantasy season the AJ so I don’t understand the $72 panic bid there
I wouldn’t have done it either, way too high
Why is hall being slept on???????
Think he was a keeper, hence the low price
He’s not, he was a keeper in this league
Breece Hall seemed very cheap relative to those other guys
He was a keeper
This 1st point is not good advice those top 5 all went for too much. If you can get comparable for 20 less you made a mistake. That's why you make tiers and don't fall in love with players.
That panic run you need to stay out, if you fall into it, you made a mistake. Bijan was over priced.
In a keeper league prices will always be higher for top end players, there are only a few of them out there
tyrek for 33 yall on crack
He was a keeper
